Ok so I decided to try it out with the profiles alrdy in the botbase but when ever I click Load for Continent I get this error pop up "Unhandled exception has occurred in a component in your application. If you click continue, the application will ignore the error and attempt to continue. Could not find a part of the path (HB Location)". I then chose to load ea lvl range profile my self and still nothing, when I click start all I get is "Starting the bot! Currently Using BotBase : Prosto Pets Current zone is Stormwind City (Stormwind City - Zone - World of Warcraft) [Pets] Prosto_Pets started, version 0.9.16" I got these errors so I did a fresh install an tried again with exactly the same issues.
I don't think that works. The auto zone change features are set up to work with the average level of the mode chosen. So, if you choose ringer, it will swap in the level that's appropriate for the current continent. I'm not 100% sure what the default is, but if you want to use draenor areas, don't use this. Just Manually choose the profile for dra frostfire Ridge, or dra shadowmoon Valley if alliance, and download a few of the other profiles for nagrand, arak and others if you want specific pets farmed. The auto zone swap is designed for levelling a first few pets to 25, using relative or levelling modes, where the level of the pets stays around the same level as the enemies. So, say that you have 10 pets at level 1, it will get all of them to level 3 or 4 in the starter areas, then move to the mob 20 zones for level 5 pets, 25 for 6, etc. Once you have a lvl 20+ pet, you can use it to tank the other lower levels,as it makes the process a lot faster. In draenor/pandaria, you want to have most of your levelling start with level 5 to 8 pets or above, so they survive one round. The achievement for the pet battle monument, 2000 battles can all be done in frostfire Ridge, it has near infinite spawning areas.
Thanks for the info but still didn't sort it. I even tried manual movement and it still doesn't start up so god knows whats up with it for me.
Any news up an update to fix the major issue where you have to restart HB every time you stop it? Wouldn't be such an issue if WoW didn't also crash half the time when you close HB :/
Steht im einleitenden Posting nicht verständlich genug, dass der Client auf ENGLISCH eingestellt sein soll (muss)? -.-

thanks Roc Curiously has anyone tried it with the newer BETA? I know this is still a TEST build, but I always stop the darn bot forgetting i can just pause it haha.
Would someone please link me the details on how to set this up to capture a certain pet or pet breed? I assume I'm not the first to ask this and the information is somewhere in the these threads... Thanks!
It's not really supported. The goal for collecting would be to set up specific profiles for capturing pets in the area/zone, then moving on once a specific rarity or breed had been captured. None of this exists. That said, the profiles are easy enough to set up to level pets in the area and it could capture the pet you want, after many futile attempts, just like how a regular player would attempt it. with some exceptions, you could do the majority of pet achievements for collection given some manual navigation between areas. The biggest exceptions are those pets that aren't present at all times, require times of day, weather to be visible /exist, or pets that are intentionally difficult to farm, such as the unborn val'kyr. These, require specific programming because it's not a zone profile. Others are more likely to require repeat visits, because of scarcity, the giraffe cub, flayer youngling and so on. If you set the zone profile, it will navigate to certain pets and engage them. Without a blacklist, it becomes difficult to farm a specific pet, but not impossible. Just having it grind in an area should be enough to get 88-90% of collectable pets. The code to switch out of one area and onto another would be prohibitive to everyone else who might use the bot for simple grind levelling or for daily trainers, or to push up pets they want to use for other tasks.
Has the development been abandoned again? Would really love to use (and donate/pay for) this (especially the version Studio60 has in mind) - but in it's current state I (maybe it's just me) can't get it to work in Ringer Mode in Pandaria to level 2 specific/hand picked pets. Bot simply won't start.
So what are you doing? more details are required to help you getting it to run. As far as training 2 specific pets, you should just add them to your pet team. Then in the bot config double click the words "current team", that will load them in to the bot if they weren't already in. Then lock those 2 pets. The bot should change out the ringer pets as needed. Note by locking the pets the bot will keeping using those 2 pets even if dead, so you have to sometimes use a pet bandage. The bot only seems to use the Revive Battle Pets skill. Hope that helps
I know what I'm doing, so I did not describe the whole setup. ... Root of the problem seems to be the area transition/automated movement. As long as I start in the Jade Forest everything works, bot will battle his way across the map to the next zone - but if I don't, the bot won't even start.
Did you try this fix mentioned earlier in the thread? https://www.thebuddyforum.com/honor...1-a-56.html?highlight=detachevent#post1868740 It worked for me. Studio60, Are you continuing to work on the botbase? or moved entirely to your own. Found a few other bugs too.
Studio60 is currently working mostly on his farming profiles I think. Think he's left this for good, so, only way it will be fixed if is Prostak starts working on it again I think, unless someone else feels up to it.
Prostak has returned last week but i think he is probley working on it in the background sense the project was for when he had time he does know the issues that's been discussed in the last few pages back so wait an see all.if u can fix it im sure he wont mind for a fast fix.
With the HB update I have a perfectly running version again I guess the TEST/BETA stuff with reduced functionality was causing the problems... hopefully things stay working smoothly. One thing I have noticed in past day that never happened before. The bot is wandering extremely far off my routes in my custom Draenor profiles. Normally after a time it will snap back to the route without going too far off course. Last night I had a toon down in southern Spires of Arak on a Talador/SMV route! Crazy stuff lol.
If I use the default profiles in the old world I have no problems. But once I try anything new, he just stands there. How did you guys get it to work in dranor for example?
hello Can I use any self -built profiles anyway? I have built quite a few according to the information in this thread , but they do not work Is it planned to use self-made ? greeting
