I am looking to buy this routine. Need to know if it supports the Holy 4p bonus? (i.e. does it cast heal / pom / cop with 2 serendipity stacks? and if so are the stacks calculated by flash heal/binding heal casts x 2 or does it scan for the buff)? To clarify, if it calculates serendipity based on other casts it will NOT pick up the 4piece proc bonuses. Thank you very much!
tried it on release version, never casted Dawn ( disabled in Dynamic) Once i enabled it was working perfectly. Waiting on new version to get approved Wulf doesn't love me to give me beta access On a side note, LoS issues almost gone, worked amazing on H maidens, furnace and blackhand, Great job !
Please attach a log. Haha, Ive been coding for the last 2 days straight to get all the settings for every class tidy, finally its all done i can concentrate on other things. Ill ping you on skype. Enable Hardlock. Any further support will require you to attach a Log. We have two heroic/mythic Holy priest testers at the moment, they have been testing Oracle with the 4pc Bonus and have had good results. You sound like you are quite knowledgeable on Holy Priest, hit me up via PM and ill set you up with beta. If you make a significant enough contribution ill give you a gift key for your trouble Note to all: If all goes well on beta in the next 24hrs i will submit a release. A lot of changes to settings and the GUI and the new slider options need to be tested so they do not break anything
Nothing to add but some praise. I've used this routine on and off due to me quitting and coming back from wow and no matter what class I pick, I know I can rely on Oracle. My main use to be a priest and with it I was always topping meters and providing for my raid, however I've used this for shaman, pally, and just recently a druid and I've had nothing but positives from this. Thank you for all the effort you put toward this.
We need an option in the blanket mode to select a group. "TanksPlusTargettedPlayers" does not do that. If I have more than 5 shields set in blanket mode it should then preshield my selected group first. Group shielding is imperative for raiding as a disc. Cannot start shielding AFTER the group takes damage. Missing the whole point of shielding. And most of the time we know which group is going to take damage.
Is there a way to tell when settings downloaded through the settings manager have been updated, or is it just good practice to download the same settings profile on a decently regular basis? Thanks
Date submitted would change. Also they cannot be updated without submitting a new one so date submitted would be the way to go. All's well that Heals well, Bennyquest
Doing pretty will so far with Holy Paladin. 10/10H and 4/10 Mythic at the moment, healing almost the same as others healers that raid with me (druid, disc priest and shaman), but with the lowest ilvl of all (i have 5 ilvl less than any of them), and with normal warforged (671) weapon, while all of them have heroic or mythic weapon. (yeah, i'm a unlucky bastard kkk)... All that without the 4P Tier, so i guess the routine is good enough at the moment for holy pallies.. I'll do some more tests (wanna tune sliders better) and will upload a new set of settings on the manager =) Thanks Wulf and BennyQ!
Not long now. here are some of the changes. New features: -------------- * All - More Output logging for AoE choices - New Sliders under Healing Selector tab in the GUI. * Holy Priest - Guardian Spirit now utilises the General > Cooldowns target selection. - New setting to only use Prayer of healing with Serendipity * Monk - LifeCocoon now utilises the General > Cooldowns target selection. * Discipline Priest - Pain Surpresion now utilises the General > Cooldowns target selection. Bug fixes: -------------- * All - All settings have been organised by Spell and are by default collapsed. All settings should now be more readable. * Monk - Fistweaving Optimised for Chi Explosion talent. New setting for Chi Count added. * Paladin - Beacon of Insight update for 6.1 (30% increase changed to 40% increase)
As a resto shammy (OS iLvl 685+), I tried various setting @ Mythic Darmac but couldn't find a good one. My HPS was sitting around 30K which is way lower than other heals. I know HPS isn't everything but 37-42K HPS is required here. The problem is that Oracle (with my settings) won't cast Chain Heal enough. It tends to cast Healing Wave or Riptide when Chain Heal should be casted. Chain Heal becomes most mana efficient heal when your T17 4P procs but it doesn't seem to be supported yet. I hope new AoE <-> Single Heal setting solve this problem. For Normal/Heroic healing, Oracle is more than enough. You can heal well with default settings + a few tweaks. Btw, Configurabale Dispell List is very nice. I love it!
So everyone knows, shaman does not underperform by any means. Another thing to say as well to everyone asking about settings and getting ignored by wulf or myself. WE DO NOT ANSWER QUESTIONS ON GOOD SETTINGS. This is why we added in the settings manager, so we do not have to take the time to type about settings. Some of you may have noticed your posts are being removed. Yes, they are because you are wasting mine and wulf's time while we are trying to support for bug reports. Oracle is not an out of the box top meters do everything routine. You have to adjust it to YOUR needs and YOUR gear/spec style of healing. That being said take all the "other" routine fanboyism elsewhere please. All's well that Heals well, Bennyquest
No, I understand. If there are not some decent settings up for shaman by this weekend I will get mine geared up for some normal stuff and get some on the manager. All's well that Heals well, Bennyquest
Just so you understand, in the beta tester group (the group where *most* of the settings come from) we have practically no shaman support. We may have one or two testers, but they don't appear to be super active. It's very rough on Wulf and BennyQuest to have to debug, code, forum support, customer support, develop, rewrite, etc AND handle settings requests for EVERY class and spec. Oracle is NOT a "Top the Meters Directly Out of the Box" healing routine. We're all working on TRYING to get default settings for every spec and class for at least normal raids, but it takes tons of time. You have to know your class, you have to know how to set up the routine, you have to tinker and toy with the settings. Wulf and Benny don't hold hands on this thread. Hell, they don't even hold hands in the beta group. We're all forced to discover our own settings, and when a winning setup is found, it's generally made the default settings for a spec and class. You want something that you don't have to do anything with, that's fine, look for another routine. You want quality that dominates then you have to be willing to know a little bit, be willing to put in the time to configure the routine, be willing to tweak settings here and there. Oracle II is extremely advanced and extremely well coded. Wulf is constantly making improvements, changing the GUI, changing the options interface, adding and removing settings to make it easier to work with. I've personally beat out healers in higher gear than myself after putting in time to properly configure the routine, as have all of the other beta testers. It's a shame that we don't have more testers for all specs and classes, but Wulf only takes those that know their classes well, know how to report issues, know how to take their time setting up the routine to work, and utilize the tools they have at their disposal. If settings files are missing for a spec and class, it's simply because we don't currently have anyone capable of filling the void in the beta group, and it's left up to Wulf and Benny to roll that spec/class, get it leveled, get it geared, and get it working properly.
I promise you the next release with the sliders will resolve 95% of the shaman issues. Just slide the slider to more aoe and watch it outheal everything. Its a pity that some people (not you chagm) are impatient and cannot read. I stated a few posts back that the sliders were a game changer for Oracle and will transform classes into healing machines.
Thanks for clarifying. I did get a warning for trolling with that question, but it certainly was not my intention. I think the mistake is mine, I should probably have just been a little more patient, and I did write my posts after a really shocking Heroic raid performance which is never a good thing to do. Sliders....now if I'd just read that before I'd posted eh! I never meant to offend, I just didn't choose my wording so well this time around. Apologies.
