I am interested in getting HonorBuddy and using it for nothing other than leveling a few toons to 100. I have no interest in BG's, raiding, using it to farm for me...etc. Is that safe right now? I see all the reports of banning and am a little nervous. I'm way too paranoid to use it on my main account, so what I want to do is create a new account, level 2-3 toons and then transfer them off of that account.
you may be interested in the lvl 90 boost offered by blizzard. this way you can safely level a new char to 90 without going through the trouble of using the bot or transferring characters. you should never, never, ever use the bot on any account you are not willing to lose. Many of us use the bot for fun or profit. We don't place a high value on our individual wow accounts and gain pleasure from the botting itself. we use the bot to bypass the grindy parts of the game or to boost our skill in the areas we enjoy. Bots are not plug and play. they require days, weeks and sometimes months to tweak into what we enjoy on a personal basis. There are so many options with this software a newcomer is easily overwhelmed. HB can be moody and most times no one is there to hold our hand. In the end we must ask ourselves 'Why, Why do we do it?' Because its fun, thats why.
I do bot on my main 2005 account. Just take responsibility when the banhammer strikes and dont cry if you get banned. Its the risk you take Watch the banreports on this site and make sure you dont do what 99% of the other people do. Make your own damn profiles and dont share them if your account is worth something to you.
