I have been a HB user for only a month or so now, and this issue has been happening right from the start. I have been searching google and these forums with no solid answer as yet so thought I would post the issue and hopefully resolve it. The issue is that HB will be running as per normal, then just randomly close. Has happened on all profiles that I have tried up to this point, Quest, Combat, Dungeon, Grind, BG etc. The rough timing is very ranged also, has been as little as 30 mins or up to ~6 hrs. Wow is set in 32bit and windowed mode, running on DX9, both WoW and HB are set to run as Administrator. When HB does crash, I can't re-load it straight away, otherwise it just gets stuck on "logging in..." then crashes (Honorbuddy has stopped responding). I usually wait 2 - 3 mins and also flush dns after every crash as I have found that this helps a lot, (Command Prompt> ipconfig /flushdns) Below is a list of what I have been able to find on the forums and other sites and tried.. -Fresh Installs, tried multiple times in a few different locations on C Drive. -Delete HB Cache Data Before each start up. -Delete all setting sub files, re enter key on following start ups. -Added WoW and HB files to exclusions list for antivirus / firewall, I use Norton. -Checked to ensure Vid drivers are current. Not sure if it has anything to do with my PC, 3ghz i7 12gb ram 250gb SSD (using to run WoW / HB) Windows 8.1 Hope this gives a decent idea of the situation. Any help would be appreciated. Cheers..
Hi Tony, Yes this happens on every bot base that I tried at this point. I realised last night that my CR had Lockframe enabled also, and after I disabled this so it was only enabled in the HB General settings I managed to get a couple of hours in with no closing / crash. Will provide an update tonight when I get home and test for a while. As for lockframe, i have it set to 15, and wow is limited to 30fps. are their any optimal settings for this? Cheers.
Hey Blazo I am having this exact same problem. How do I disable lockframe and what is CR? Our problems are identical.
