Hi, Janova, Its not a plugins thing, its part of the Bot configuration: Honorbuddy → Settings & Tools → Bot configuration cheers, chinajade
Hi, Crazy008, and thanks for the log. The mining issue we've added as a data point to HB-2264. For the mount issue, we've opened a new report: HB-2292: GarrisonBuddy: Issues with large mounts We would expect the 'unstuck' algorithm to handle the issue with the Tundra mount. If you could provide us a screenshot (or better video) of the Tundra Mount getting hung and not recovering, it would boost the report credibility significantly. Thanks! cheers, chinajade Rf: Crazy008's problem reports w/log
Hi, Anything, and many thanks for the log. After inspecting your log, its a GreyMagic error. The problem doesn't look like an issue with GarrisonBuddy, but with an interfering program on your machine. We'd suggest starting by rebooting the machine. Also, make certain Honorbuddy is an exception to the AntiVirus—Kaspersky is particularly difficult to get adjusted correctly. After that, look for programs identified here: BosslandGmbH:HelpDeskrograms that Interfere with BosslandGmbH Products As to the other issues you've enumerated, we appear to already have them captured on the GarrisonBuddy "Issues & Dispositions" list. cheers, chinajade Ref: Anything's original post w/log
First off, amazing botbase! I had been using a paid version previously that required quite a bit of babysitting with HBR, and this one is mostly perfect aside from an issue already reported (intermittently stops moving in Alliance Garrison near fountain). One suggestion I would have is to disable XP-Only missions on experience-capped followers to save resources.
Hi, Studio60, and thanks for the log! Against this issue, we've opened: HB-2293: GarrisonBuddy: Not accommodating upgraded Barracks increasing the follower limits cheers, chinajade Ref: Studio60's problem report w/log
Hi, Firevoodoo1, You don't need GarrisonBuddy for this. You can whack out a questing profile to do this task in about 10 minutes. If you would like us to write a feature request against GarrisonBuddy in this regard, please provide a compelling use case for the feature. cheers, chinajade
Hi, Tataros, and thanks for the log. Against this issue, we've opened: HB-2294: GarrisonBuddy: After mail/sell run, GsB wrongly believed it was done, but mines/herbs not completed cheers, chinajade Ref: Tataros' problem report w/log
Hi, Paulmuadip, Simply FANTASTIC write-up! Thank you for all the pertinent details! Against this issue, we've opened: HB-2295: GarrisonBuddy: Trying to navigate through buildings which causes stuck issues cheers, chinajade Ref: Paulmuadip's problem report w/awesome details
Hi, HBBeside, and thanks for the log. The log shows a typical GreyMagic error. Paulmuadip is spot on, in that this is not a GarrisonBuddy issue. Let's start by rebooting your machine. Such problems are usually cause by interfering programs. You need to make certain that Honorbuddy is an exception to your Anti-Virus—Kaspersky is particularly awkward to get configured correctly. If the problem persists, you will need to look for interfering programs on your machine. This article should help you get started: BosslandGmbH:HelpDeskrograms that Interfere with BosslandGmbH Products cheers, chinajade Ref: HBBeside's original post w/log
Hi, Narabug, This should already be happening, unless there is a secondary reward that is worth pursuing. The next time you see the issue, please attach your full log file, and tell us specifically which mission decision(s) you disagree with. cheers, chinajade
Unfortunately this will not stop the bot from doing missions, I tried this, the bot continues to do any mission it sees fit, wasting resources in the process. There doesn't seem to be any logic to what it chooses, especially when it fills your mission log with missions with 0% chance of success. Also it doesn't care if your followers are already maxxed, it will use all your resources on xp missions trying to upgrade them anyway. My recommendation is to simply stop the bot when it says its going to do missions, and do them manually instead.
Hi, Jds, If you would like us to correct issues, please attach your full log, and point out the mission decision(s) you disagree with for the currently selected Mission Planning strategy. This information you've provided is simply not actionable. cheers, chinajade
Sorry if I'm not using this forum correctly (I did read the rules and didn't see rules on suggestions listed, if this thread is only for bugs I apologize). I see HB-2229: GarrisonBuddy: Profession Support? listed as open feature request. I'm not sure if that means you are already working on it, or if you a simply considering it. If you guys are just considering it, I'd like to voice my support for this feature. If GB could do the daily profession CDs then it would take care of all of my daily toon management and would be a great time saver. Thanks.
Log File: View attachment 6924 2015-04-22 11.01.txt You need to register and have one post to see spoilers! On all the bold ones there, we can see that there is no expected experience, the mission rewards experience, yet it still sends them. This is happening with all of my characters. I wonder if the check to perform the mission is actually checked earlier (before party is formed), when there is a possible party member who could possibly benefit from the mission. That would mean that any time I have a single follower that could gain experience, it would automatically mark all missions to be done, and then form party afterwards?
While I understand your reasoning for requesting logs, looking through one I can see they provide way too much private information to be something that should be posted in a public forum. (Path information, timestamps, character info.) etc Everything I've stated is exactly as I've stated it. While you state that it is not actionable, I know of others with similar issues where the bot simply just doesn't care what options you select or what the success rate is, that is all I'm saying. When I look at the log I can see that it does some calculation, however for example when it checks expected experience it says -1, which tells me that something is off. In my original statement all I was doing was letting the person who posted that code that modifying the xml in that way does not stop the bot from doing missions, and changing the options in the bot config does nothing as well.
Im also worrying about this, but after a talk with hawker there is no character name or any compromising in log files. I am still worried about the fact that the log files contains paths to dirs which can contain our names hence why im a little bit worried still. Botting makes us paranoid which is kinda bad, but its for our own advantage since we become more careful.
As far as I am aware it is entirely possible to change every single directory used by HB. So, why not just change the used directories to something where no part of the path contains a name you do not want revealed? In most cases this would be limited to the mesh folder. As far as 'character information' as jds stated above I am having trouble seeing the issue there. There is not even remotely enough information for Blizzard to pinpoint who you are from it. Not to mention that the time stamps are not showing timezone so there would be little chance of the time being used as "evidence" not to mention that it is the local time which differs somewhat. The developers of HB are not dumb, so they have obviously considered very carefully what information should go into these log files. I suppose third party addons could log dumb information but have yet to experience this myself. Anyway, if you feel too 'tinfoily' to provide the required information to get help then stop wasting the developers time. The reason they are using logs is because people can misinterpret what is going on and since you often have no idea of the competency (good or bad) of the person "helping" you it is difficult to take their word for it. It is far easier to assume that everyone is an idiot and ask for objective log files that, in theory, provide what the developers need to fix any given issue.
Hi, Chasemay, If you look at the "Issues & Dispositions" list, you will find several groupings. The list contains both bug reports and feature requests. "Open Issues" means the reports haven't been completed. Reports in this category are still under consideration, or may be 'in progress'. Once a disposition has been determined an "Open Issue" is moved to one of the other categories. The remaining categories should be self-explanatory. cheers, chinajade
The purpose of Log files... Hi, all, Vuwrr has it exactly right. Logs exist for ONE purpose and ONE purpose only—to aide the Development/Support staff in analyzing and isolating problems. The log files do not contain anything that Bossland GmbH feels will jeopardize your account. There is no emission of toon names, or realms. We've even gone so far to mask other telltales such as the Garrison name (which the game client naturally reflects as "TOONNAME'S Garrison"). Even the timestamps are not a concern because they are local time, and there is no way to tie them back to a particular timezone. You account security is a very high priority for Bossland GmbH, and we've thought a lot about these things. If you are not willing to make the log files available to us (as is there intended purpose), then you shouldn't waste time 'reporting' anything. Without the log (for a bug report) there is no actionable information. Withholding log files is certainly your privilege. But the consequences of this are we will take no action on such 'reports'. Please do not continue to discuss this issue here. Justifying the purpose of logs is FAR beyond the scope of this thread. cheers, chinajade
