Hi there i am not sure what i have done the right thing, i have a laptop and desk top computer. I have a single wow account and use the laptop for when i am not at home and the desktop when i am at home. I have purchased 2 keys to put honor buddy on both with different keys, i think perhaps i should have purchased only one, as some of the purchases from the store only work on one key. Can you please let me know the best approach to have the honor buddy on both pc's and have the access to all the bots. thanks
You only need one hb licence per instance. For example you can have it installed on 50 computers, but with 1 licence you can only be botting with one wow instance. You would only purchase multiple hb keys if you intended to bot with mutiple wow accounts not with mutiple computers per say.. Furthermore I'm not aware of any store purchaes locked to one key, as far as I know a hb store purchase is tied to your buddyauth id, and as many keys with in, that username can have access to your store purchase. Clearly there is built in protection, ie if you have connections coming in all over the world, the staff will identify it as account sharing, this is prohibited.
Thanks for this information, i have re-installed honorbuddy to the newest version with the same key as my desktop. It installs ok but some of the purchased bots don't work properly - for example Garison butler runs around but doesnt do any thing and huntastic the combat bot does not get added to the list any ideas? Both of these issues need to be taken up with the authors support thread, Sorry I do not use either of those two items, with my bot. I use garrison boss my self, I belive this is the best atm, even better then the garrisonbudy that comes with hb. As for the combat bot not showing up, are you sure it's enabled through the buddy store portal ?
You can email buddyauth support and have them merge your two keys. I have three keys, merged, and they all get the same access to my buddy store purchases. All three also have the same log in key for HB. You could also request a refund for your extra key but I'm not sure if you'd get it. Or, I've seen people selling keys on the the forums before. Although, I would read the forum rules before attempting to market it here. Not sure if it's allowed.
You only need to merge accounts if you purchased your keys with different emails address, resulting in two buddy auth ids. HB staff will not refund keys, and you are not able to sell them on these forums.
Well it depends, if all your plugins and profiles are acquired from the buddy store, no this will not do anything, as they are never loaded onto your hdd, they are simple stored in memory whilst your suing HB. If your using a non buddy store plugin or combat routine or profile, then yes this will help you maintain that same HB environment across your PC and laptop
you are correct not all of the stuff from the store is being loaded onto my pc, could it be a windows 8 issue?
