Need to make the transition from boomkin to feral for raid needs and I guess that means its time for me to find a cr for feral. Currently using tuanha and I feel like it performs quite well (within 5% of sim dps single target) and wondering what kind of results other people have gotten out of their cr that they use. I tried using the forum search and only really came up with one or two threads that got like no input.
Interesting that the votes are almost equal for tuanha and superbad and nobody voting for the other two. For the people using superbad, what is it that you like about it more than tuanha?
I've only tried kitty dru and hazz when there was downtime during a large patch last expansion, neither really stood out to be compared to the dps I was getting out of superbad. I have tried Tuhana's back when he first made it, and again later on for comparison's sake, although both times it fell quite short of what I could pull with the alternate cc. I do own a couple of Tuhana's other cc's (paid) from when I raided with them during mop and I think they work fairly well. There is definitely enough customization he includes for the various classes. If I had to point to one thing however, it would be that a developer that spends his time perfecting one class versus spreading his attention trying to keep up with every class change and every spec, cannot maintain the same level. So if what you want is the best cr then I would go with Superbad. Specifically there isn't a exact number of reasons as I believe both to have options to tweak and tailor it to the users need, but I suppose I would say Superbad is simply coded better.
Superbad seems like it has really bad support seeing how the author hasn't replied to his own thread in over three weeks and there also hasn't been any updates to the routine during this time. Tuanha receives updates every few days and the very most. Looking at the history of the updates the author used to push updates all the time and now it is every 3-4 weeks that issues get addressed. That seems like a huge waiting period for something to get fixed especially when it is something critical like kromog where a lot of people were reporting that the profile was completely broken.
I use Superbad as feral on mythic. What do you suggest as balance rotation. Now I use Stars. Is there any better ones?
well my opinion from when i first tried superbad in mop i have chosen Tuahna over most i know how to set it up for what i want and it isn't slow reacting
Well. Superbad for me is the best routine for feral without a question. Tuanha is really good also, and they have a very good support. But i having using superbad a couple weeks now, and i am almost top dps in mythic progression.
Stars has been my go to for progression but I also got amazing results out of YRBV2 I just never put in the time to tweak it to exactly what I wanted. TuanHa handles aoe much better than stars also. Stars puts greater weight into single target dmg over tuanha, managed to get 99th percentile for 695+ as boomkin using tuanha for darmac. Stars and YRBV2 are your best bet for single target where Tuanha performs better for aoe.
I guess I would have to ask which issues are the problem that need to be addressed.If there's nothing to be fixed then nothing to update unless he can find a way to optimise the routine further . As far as the kromog hands that one was a special exception as he had "I am still here, but actually i am not able to code.My flat was flooded with water, cause in the flat above me a water pipe was broken. I will move to a new flat in 2 weeks - and will get internet in the new flat in 4 weeks." so I can understand not being able to help fix the kromog problem immediately when it cropped up. In the end its your choice to make just voicing an opinion
Yeah I totally get what you are saying when it comes to that but all of the updates in the last 3-4 months have been like 3 weeks apart and he is completely absent from the forums. Not saying that there is anything in particular wrong with it but nobody can ever say that their cr is perfect. If there was no need for cr updates to be pushed through then everyone would be employing that same logic and giving an update like once a month. In reality other cr are getting updates weekly. I guess a TLDR of this would be to ask if he does actually give decent customer support. Looking at the forum looks more like he has abandoned the cr
myth progression 8/10 top dps in Grull, Ore, Hans, flamebender sometimes and iron madens, rolling with 697 itlvl with superbad never got disapointed
