Hello boys. My bot is standing still when i start it. The log says the following: Changing current profile to Grizzly Hills Wolves 'n Stags by Retsalk Starting the bot! Changing current profile to Grizzly Hills Wolves 'n Stags by Retsalk Chose Prince of Darkness as your combat class! Could not navigate to current hotspot dequeuing it! And then you can see at the buttom it says "Activity: Moving to hotspot" but it just stands still and does nothing. It attacks if someone attacks you, but then stands still again. I've tried re-downloading HB, deleted the Mesh folder, Ran the .exe as administrator. Nothing seems to work. The issue came last night around 11pm.
Just tested, i think the profile is broken since it is happening to me to but not to any other profiles. @sepchamp, testing now will report you in a few minutes.
same thing is happening to me with ALL my profiles, ranging from 1-40 grinds/questing to 60-80 and also all my 80+ profiles. Exact same problem these guys are having. Dequeing hotspot. log file looks almost identical.
I don't know whats wrong with your guys's, if experimental path following and kill mobs behind hot spots is on, I haven't made that many significant changes to mine. Im on Win 7 x64... gl on getting help though
Im almost possitive its some sort of mesh server issue. Perhaps im wrong but everyone I know using the bot is experiencing the exact same problem no matter what CC/Profile theyre using.
I have been having the same problems with pathing... The bot has been running fine all week in mixed mode, but last night I started to get @FindStartPoly issues in all battlegrounds and sometimes on normal profiles that up till now have been spot on. SOTA does not work at all, AB is slightly bugged at BS, WSG is still fine, EOTS has stopped jumping from the starting ledge etc.
Ive also tried a full fresh install (proper) on a different computer with nearly 20 different profiles and 6 different characters and all has failed with the same @FindStartPoly errors So far all characters tested have been horde ranging from 40 - 85. I will go test some alliance profiles using various CC's right now and let you guys know if i have the same problem alliance side too. Id assume I will. Again the person who refered me to HB/GB said he believes the mesh server is down/crashed hopefully an admin/moderator will come along shortly and let us know if its EVERYONE or just a handful. the 15 or so people I know using the bot are all experiencing this problem.
Yep also AV is totally gone nuts, tried it on 2 chars. The bot runs out the starting gates (alliance side) jumps down a mountain and freezes. Will just stand there untill he gets deserter debuff. Are the meshes broken, i deleted them and let it redownload but it didn't seem to help. Same error as above, @findstartpoly
also just a quick side note, I saw a topic last week when i joined talkin about this program is too easily accessible to everyone and their mother. Im starting to see what theyre talkin about. There must be atleast 200 or 300 people running GB in twilight highlands/mount hyjal on my server alone, its fairly rediculous. Prices on nearly everything have dropped to fractions of even a reduced price server. I have started writing down the names of people I see following the same paths as me. right now on horde side alone i have a list of 147 people. and like i said thats just the 2 zones mentioned above. My Uldum botters list is twice that size by itself. Arent any of you worried that are some point we're all going to get mass banned or something? I do not work for blizzard nor do I drinketh from the koolaid blizzard serveth however my server isnt even that populated and with those kinds of numbers of botters I feel theres little hope for hb/gb in the future..... Perhaps stop allowing people to share their account info? i dunno. just wanted to throw it out there while HB seems fubar. maybe im wrong if so please dont troll me Im simply asking.
at some point blizzard will just start banning every account you've ever logged into. Then you lose accounts you never touched with a bot once. Thats what Im worried about. not the leveling/farming accounts i have. Blizzard makes enough money that at some point they will have no choice but to hire someone to counter-code against this bot, Before long every 2nd or 3rd person will be botting and blizzard will just shut everyone down. Period. If you give everyone access to a good thing it quickly becomes abused and no longer a good thing. Im just saying I know atleast 5 people who share their login info to HB/GB so that its in use 24/7 and im assuming from all the botters everyones doing it or will be soon. Atleast I dont share my info ... again abuse will lead to worse conditions for botting. and after typing all that my brain hurts and im off to bed, hope we can get the mesh server fixed by tomorrow! edit* No my concerns were for GB and HB as a whole, and I didnt feel it needed an entire new topic started, figured id just ask the people I was already interacting with based off a different problem. I guess I should have just left the subject alone, my bad. At some point though you have to limit shit like bots, because blizzard only lets it slide cuz not very many people do it. until cata that is.
