I had noticed yesterday after logging in it gives this message "Honorbuddy was unable to check for an update. Honorbuddy will not be able to update automatically." All of the options are greyed out. I deleted the folder in efforts to do a clean install and now can not access the downloads page nor the buddy store. The store, downloads and the buy honorbuddy pages all time out. I have tried several of the other ideas in the support forums and tried 3 different devices (2 computers and phone). Is anyone else having this issue?

Timed out....I am working on a few scanners to see if its an issue on my end. I saw a post on the main page that was locked by tony and the op did not repost here, so I'm not convinced its me just yet.

I am curious if this is a issue with a specific ISP, could blizz or a company be blocking access to parts of the site? I ran a tracert to buddyforum.com and it was fine 15 hops when I tried updates.buddyauth.com it was fine for about 3 hops then lagged hard and timed out on hop 4. I tried to access that part of the site with my cell phones data service and it worked fine but once back on my home ISP it times out. Maybe I've chased the rabbit to far but the bot is unusable and I have enjoyed using it.

I would love to but the site times out and does not load. The only parts of the site I can't access is the download pages, buddystore and the purchase page, that's why I was curious if it was possible there is either site issues or there are ISPs that others are having this same problem with. Those pages work on my cell data service but not from my home ISP.

I had the exact same problem, Tony helped me and we found out that it was a geo-ip problem, they updated something on the updates server and then it worked for me again.

Get ahold of Tony. Dodo was the one that fixed it.

Yes, several times with different devices the only way I can get to those pages is with my cell phone data connection. Through My home ISP it times out and says unable to connect to server. I was hoping it was just me but I guess not.... Any help would be great tony.

Tried flushing DNS like I saw on another thread with the same topic. I have deleted and unistalled everything honorbuddy. I still can not get to the websites to download the installer or zip file. If its some kind of gep ip issue I'm in the Southeastern US.

I am receiving the same message. I'm also unable to reach the download. I've also done the flushdns. I am by necessity on a static ip. My log is attached. Any suggestions? View attachment 1432 2015-05-04 08.35.txt

I am not on a static ip Tony, I have tried multiple devices. It only seems to work on my cell phones data service.

So... something strange. Connecting from Comcast works. Connecting from Earthlink does not. Southeastern US. Not a question, just a tidbit of info.
