I like ones currently that just use one skill. Ie incinerate. Or freeze pulse. Also not one thay can get interrupted ie pebbles with cascade. I also prefer tanker builds but that's more preference.
Each build has potential for being a "good" build for botting, if you take the time and effort to code your own combat routine for it. Keeping this in mind, PoE's end game meta right now it's best to select a build that follows the criteria of: a) High clear speed b) Life based (lowlife if you can afford a 6L shavs). c) At least 50% crit chance and 150% crit mult. d) Ranged (since basicgrindbot logs the point where combat is engaged and will revert back to that point when it is done with the current combat, Flicker would be the best in general even with the backtracking but with the crit mult nerfs its not even worth it anymore). At the moment the "best" build to play is kinetic blast. There are two variants of the build and one off shoot of the build. Variants: Witch: LowLife (6L Shav) + Phys Wand + ~6 auars - Vaal Auras Shadow: Health (6L Lightning Coil, Daresso's Defiance, Volls Devotion or Belly of the Beast (with the changes in the beta it would be best to aim for a Daresso's Defiance) + Ele Wand (Piscator's Vigil can hold you until maybe 85 or so) + 3 auras (HoI+Wrath+Hatred) + Vaal Haste/Grace. Volls Devo free's up a slot for pcoc but you can do HoI+CurseOnHit+AssMark+RedMana for greater effect for a slight cost increase... or just have the bot cast. You can also do a cast on crit variant with kinetic blast. However, one downside to cast on crit is having to deal with reflect (you can easily code this into your combat routine), but the main downside is the inability to use HoI + Curse on Hit + AssMark + Reduced mana for auto casting. This saves you one link on your 6L and you may be thinking "well, its not worth that for sure", by freeing up that one link from pcoc you can use life leech or wed which will give you a massive boost in clearspeed/survival. PoEBuilder KB Ele Wand Obviously you need to tweak it to your gear. Alpha's, 6L chest (tabula works), piscator's vigil, mana regen+crit chance+crit mult+ias gear. You can easily grab acro and ondars and drop EB but I personally prefer to use AA when wanding. The leadership node, balistic mastery, beserking nodes are not worth taking. The low life witch variant is completely different but it's pretty much your typical aura power siphon build. For my build I grab pierce last. It is incredibly over powered with cwdt+spelltotem+frostwall+fastercasting. My bot has yet to die once this month. I hope that helps.
