This IS a rant, and one I am passionate about.

Does shard farming work/can we expect it to work when the game comes up in a few hours and the newest update is rolled out?

I was just casually browsing these forums since HB got dumped on and saw this thread saying almost everything is busted.

I hope not~! With WoW down and Swtor's bot barely working what troubles is this bot facing as well?

 

I Haven't heard of any reports saying it doesn't work, but i will be trying once the bot is updated again.

 

Not sure if you meant shard farming doesnt work or the bot doesnt work, because in the first paragraph of this thread it says

So I'll give you a basic know how to do so.

Oh? You made this part wrong and it's done poorly.

Well...can you show me how to create this part? No, you should already know how to do it perfectly with the assets I've given you.

That's how I take it at least.

 

Despite the bitching, the bot is solid and I'd suggest it. Everything will be working again shortly, sometimes developers need to vent. I'm sure most of the community developers would rather be here regardless of the situation because the alternative is writing in lua.

 

Yeah, I will never write in LUA even if my life depended on it. For all the newcomers, RB is doing fine. Two days ago an update broke many of the community developed projects, but we're working on them to accommodate for the changes. It's funny, because right when a ban wave hits WoW and people are looking into other games like this one, an update breaks most plugins. It's just bad timing, most things should get updated soon enough.

 

That post was from a very, very rough day, and was a culmination of multiple weeks of semi-internal development issues that had been brewing. Since making that post, we, (the community devs) have seen significant improvement, and have happily updated most of the most commonly, currently used plugins. It will always be a work in progress, but we're making it. And as was said earlier in the thread, yes, the bot is working, and working like it should be for the most part. There will just be growing pains from time to time, and that was one of those times.
