      Yes I blame you directly...

For years I and many others shared our concern off people using HB to bot in all pvp environments..

I've been shut down and been told I'm a moron many times for sharing my concerns..

And this is the result, you forced the hand of blizzard and wiped us out..

If you ever went to the wow forums did you ever see

      1. People bitching about leveling bots
      2. People biting about Enyo raid bots
      3. People bitching about garrison bots
No or if not never very often..

All you ever saw people was bitching about pvp bots, and rightly so you where directly effecting there game play..

Battlegrounds where non playable due to the about of bots..

I'm glad your now banned, it's a shame we had to go down with you..

I hold you directly responsible for this ban wave..

I prey and hope if HB ever returnes I hope they flat out disable pvp all together, to the point if the bot detects your in a pvp zone it shuts down the bot..

There are many of this forums who agree with me, but I know there are those that will call me all the names under the sun, and you are the ones I hope never get your account back..

To the devs, please disable pvp in all aspects in the future bots....

People say it's all the same,

Well I can assure you the wow community never really gave a shit about leveling bots or gathering bots (a few hand farmers perhaps) but every second post on the forums was complaining about the amour of bots in pvp..

Please consider your actions I the future...

I was in game after the ban wave yesterday, and spoke with more than a few non botting players. This was their exact sentiments. HB would be wise to disable battleground botting if only to keep a lower profile.

      This is not correct.

I agree that PvP was one of the major aspects for non-botters to be pissed and make big noise on the blizzard forums.

But! You know what was even worse during the last months? Those goddamn stupid dungeon farmers. Yes.

I have never seen non-botters being THAT pissed and opening so many threads on blizzard forums than they did for people farming (mainly) Wotlk dungeons. This was so outright dumb and stupid. There were people who were watching your 5 or 10 or even more toons going in and out of those dungeons for days on end, reporting them over and over. Even I, as a botter myself, saw this many times and thought to myself "Jesus Christ are they really that dumb? It takes like 2 seconds for EVERYONE to know that these are bots."

So yes, the bot would have been more save without the PvP aspect, but it would also have had to remove any way to run dungeons on endless loops. Both of these things were the most obvious during the last months. This is not PvP alone.

I agree with Thecamel, I bought this bot was just for leveling reasions and I did not get affected by the ban wave. Battleground was unplayable due to the about of Bots its ridiculous, I actually look down on botting in Battlegrounds as it does affect many real life players game play including mine its just frustrating and makes it no fun for anyone but the lazy botter... who reaping the benitfits even tho you cant even Win a Battle ground becuase of the sheer amount of botting only way to win is to have more Real Life players Vs Botters witch is just retarded. Even tho its called Honorbuddy use discretly not 24h a day for fuc sacks like some of you do for that most of you do deserve the bans haha I'm playing Battlegrounds right now its so clean and real for once no ones botting today!

you would have a point if it werent so skewed. honorbuddy was named before all the other features were added. the bot was much more simple back then. farming honor was one of its main selling points. that was then, honorbuddy has changed since then.

when the video of stonecore bot trains went viral, blizz had to do something to boost public opinion.

thread after thread on the wow forums reference honorbuddy, not any other bot, just honorbuddy

just because a game is made by Blizzard, i dont expect the games to be full of snow and shit.

That was in reference to myself and everyone. When I played the game hardcore "back in the day" my only goals were "Epic Lootz" lots of my life past me by during that time and I lost a good deal. Yes I have a problems with gaming and will be the first to admit that to anyone who knows me. I built my fist comp in 4 years and downloaded WOD without thinking twice about it. It occupied lots of my time right off the bat. When I found Honorbuddy I was blown away by how much of my free time I could actually get back and still keep up in game. I did no PvP with it other than used combat routines with a grp in arenas or ran raids with my guild. I sold nothing on the AH. I played 1 toon with it and didnt even run leveling profiles.
I used HB for 3 months and had a great time with it, even got my brother in law to buy it (he got banned as well yesterday).

My main point was don't blame others, we all used the program, we all loved the program for one reason or another. Now its time to for us ( me personally) to move forward again with IRL activities.
      You can't say that's a horrible thing
My name is Jeff and I'm an addict...
Being banned was probably a good thing for me and it could have been for others as well on here.

I don't disagree, but for those who wish to keep going, we need learn from the mistakes made, and pvp bots was one of them

Use one of the other bots (the x64 ones) they're both intact and their forums are abound with "omg we are about to see tons of new customers Blah blah"

Actually you'll find it was mostly destroyed by the archeology banwave then the cease and desist after. I think before you start pointing fingers, you want to look towards the 100s of botters flying in and out of instances. Over the pst few months there has been massive threads on them, peopel forming groups to camp them and the likes.

Those mixed in with the new wow token, well it was always going to end like this.

I think every aspect of honorbuddy contributed as a whole and the sheer volume of people who use the product could have foreseen a ban eventually this large. As they say when you have something good you have to keep it to yourself (otherwise a lot more effort goes into the idea). I think dungeons were the most consistent, most often way to catch botters besides outright gathering or BGs. Everyone contributed one way or another. The less eyes on you, the better. If all of Honorbuddy's development was focused in a single area, would it be a lot more successful and favored to use the product within said area such as gathering? Giwin did a lot of work with plugins as well as Roboto keeping you out of other's paths, whether bot or player. Those are two authors that come to mind that made blizzard scratch their head at the amount of avoidance and reaction to the worse part of botting, other players. If you cannot see them you cannot report them is the rule of thumb agreed upon by most. This is very similar to TuanHA always included the option for targeting, movement, facing, etc. because many of the actions go hand in hand, without them it is that much easier to spot a bot from a mile away. There are many, many other authors who included this in their routine and went the extra length with protection which probably invested more time in the bot's lifespan ultimately. I don't think it is done by any means, but this is a pretty large blow.

Had BGBuddy went with more dynamic paths and targets would it be less obvious? Quite a bit. No fully automated BGs would be a good sacrifice and much better for everyone since a player controlling movement can react properly.
Had dungeonbuddy used dungeons in rotation would it be harder to catch botters? Possibly. I apologize if I'm incorrect and that's possible, I used it very seldom myself although it is well done.

Blizzard probably had the power to do this long ago, but the money was much better in previous releases. It seems the general consensus is that the expansions only got worse after WoTLK. I liked Cataclysm, but I agree after that one it took a strange turn with simplifying. I really don't know what WoD is about besides red orcs. It is what it is.

I would suggest simply removing the afk ability of PVP bots. Allow the CR to attack and defend, but delete all movement control. I would PVP bot to get gear (It is called HONORbuddy after all), but never AFK.

I was one of the "scumbag" pvpers, I broke 2.7k+ in arenas with crs multiple times. Sure it didn't help drawing attention to myself and hb - hell I had so many whispers from people every other day after my arena sessions. I've been called every name possible by people, I've also used this for raiding. I do agree that crs in pve is much safer (as long as you don't instantly kick things) It's really hard to quit something when it is so much fun, have you ever used vitalics on a geared rogue? My god you feel like Reckful.

Or glad suite on a lock that doubles/triples everyone else's damage. Hell, I even fought snutz in a 3s match. The bot doubled his damage! (we did lay every single kick into him though) But alas, I do agree with you. I blame Blizzard at the end of the day no matter what. The game is boring to so many people that if we didn't have bots we wouldn't be playing anyways.

And for those of you that would play even without a bot, well I can only say that you knew the risks too and it seems people only have 6 month suspensions so maybe you should just stop botting if you still enjoy wow without honorbuddy. I personally can't play this game anymore by hand. I'd die of boredom. tldr I'd be okay without pvp botting.

clearly you don't understand how blizzard works.. But with your comments I suspect your that of an age that you wouldn't understand, most 12 year olds wouldn't.

You signed the same waiver we did stop crying on the forums about the inevitability of something way to good to be true getting broken.
