id rather not have any of my pay methods put on a blacklist. and i have a good relationship with my cc and bank providers. committing fraud makes you look like a douche to more people than you think.

do you really think this is the first time VISA has gotten a request for chargeback against blizzard. you think you are original, smart, sneaky, you arent. you are just a douchebag lying for pennies.

I will most definitely cancel my refund request right now in light of this wonderful post you took the time to write.
Thank you for taking the time to enlighten and educate me with your scientific, invaluable, unequivocal and complete knowledge of this subject. I really owe you big time.

yes, i quoted the US version. mostly because i live in the US and am ignorant of EU policies.
i probably need to specify from now on. im learning slowly not everyone is from here.

sorry bro, you are already on the douchbag list. and it takes years before your name drops of that list.

They Perma ban the account until you pay what you charged back, back. When it's unlocked. You can ONLY use game time cards. They'll also put a buyer block against your card and you'll no longer be able to use that card with ANY blizzard based payment portal anymore.

      * Yes. I've been through the process. They charged me for 17, 1 month subscriptions due to a bug and they told me they wouldn't refund it. Just to turn recurring off and deal with having the game time. I won :) No characters were on that account and I got a new card # the next day lol

No, you are wrong, and I clearly pointed out why you are wrong. Your CC doesn't dispute shit. They can go to a retailer and ask the retailer why someone would dispute their charges. If said retailer comes back and says it clearly states in our terms of service that we do not provide refunds if the account was in violation of the terms of services, then the CC company does not have to offer you a refund, and they could potentially file fraud charges against you.

Depending on the CC company, they may very well may side with the retailer over the customer.

I wish all these children would be banned from the HB forums every time they bring up doing charge backs, attacking other wow players or suggesting DDoS attacks.

These types of discussions really don't belong here, all it does is make you look like children that have no experience in the real world.

You guys are acting like Blizz did something that they didn't have the right to do...Well, they had every right to ban you. Grow up and take it like an adult.

If you're so poor that you need the funds back from a damn video game, you may want to evaluate your life decisions.

learn to respect yourself and those around you.
grow up and take responsibility for your actions.
stop looking for ways to game the system
stop being butthurt when you are caught doing something wrong.
and maybe, with a little work, you may get off the douchebag list

Not everyone is living in USA ;)
OC I could charge the money back (6 weeks here with elv and only have to tell the bank to do it) but I got 3 weeks out of the 13 € and let it go with the rest. They cant go to the court cause the sum is below minimum claims limit.
And they simply as it is cant go to court cause they acceptet ELV rules, that give the customer the right to charge back the money 6 weeks.

Sometimes I really think USA is behind the moon in financial services. Heard you even have to use cheques?

If you actually read this thread, you would've seen that it's been pointed out that EU rules are different than the US rules. EU customers are offered a pro-rated refund based on the amount of service that was offered. The EU ToS actually gives you what the pro-rated rate is.

I don't need to respect you or any other one I don't wish to. (although so far I have been pretty respectful to you considering you don't matter one bit.)
I am grown and take full responsibility for my actions.
I am not gaming any system just doing what I feel I should do.
I am not butthurt what so ever, what happened is over with and I've moved on.
And for the love of god keep me on that list if it means you won't reply anymore.

It was a pleasure listening to you telling me how to live and act because I'm sure you're a shiny example of proper etiquette and a model citizen (considering the fact that you have to reply to every single post on the forum with your two cents and you're a complete asshole everytime.)

      Have a great day!

Inbcorrect, in the United States, in all 50 states all evidence must be turned over to your lawyer, and thus you.

First off, Its only fraud if you lie, I absolutely told the truth. I informed them that after billing me the Payee cancelled my accounts offering only a vague ToS violation BY THEIR OWN LETTER they refuse to discuss or prove. That smacks of fraud on the part of a vendor, regardless of what their ToS says, and my CC company happily refunded for all my accounts. Secondly you CAN do a chargeback, and expect your account to be permanently banned. And lastly, yes, I've done charge backs on all my accounts with blizzard.
