Action: Shard Mining + Transfer Time: 24/7 Suspension: 72 hours for cheating/botting I forgot to log off of the miner before the maintenance and when I logged back on both my main and my miner was experiencing lag issues in game only. They both kept getting disconnected even when I was playing legitly on my main. Soon later, couple hours, my miner was suspended and got the email. Just wanted to give a heads-up! If you want anymore non-personal details, feel free to ask. Edit: My main is locked out atm. It gets that message that you get when you log into another computer and it makes you reset your password. But instead it doesn't send the email and manually resetting does not do anything. My alt received an email, but my main did not, so I'm unsure what is happening with my main Edit2: My main is fine. I was being dumb and checking the wrong email... lmao. But it's weird that it asked me to reset my password. Since then I reformatted my computer in case of anything. I was having computer issues too anyways.
I run my alt miner 24/7 and never log off for maintenance, thanks for the heads up. What kind of profile were you running? I am assuming you would've had player reports prior to that for them to be keeping an eye on your account activity.
I read this before logging in, then I could not log in. I clicked on my email account and could not log into my email account. I went to favorites and clicked to my Square Enix account, all the while only using the mouse. I could not log into my account at the web site. I finally noticed that my CAPSLOCK was on. Everything was fine.
At first I was farming electrum, then I switched to the full shard mining rotation by Kagepande, then I edited it to only mine the shards that I needed and would switch ores manually after reaching 9990. This all happened from the time the account started to the time it got banned which was about 35 days or so.
Any chance of you quoting the e-mail exactly? I doubt it would both of those lines in it, so I assume you're telling us what you did. By "transfer," can you elaborate? It would appear that they would ban first for possibly RMT activity over botting 24/7, based on our experience so far.
Sorry I should elaborate on "transfer" what I meant by that is I transfered the shards to my main and to a friend's account. I'd rather not get myself found and my main linked to the account or something, so I'm going to delete the message in ~12hours. Message deleted. Reason: The requested person saw it.
No worries. Looks like they got you for botting or exploiting. I'll assume botting, though. That's unfortunate and rare from what I've come to understand. Thanks for sharing either way!
Guessing but it seems like player report. I try to stay away from gathering the fire shards/crystals during common hours and only at night. There are a couple unspoiled nodes that spawn in that area and when you get the hardcore gatherer community to notice there is this guy who is always at the fire farming point they are going to investigate. I've been around and have had people run over and try to talk to me and do all kinds of silly things like trying to open trade and see what happens. Sorry to hear from your misfortune though! Just saying that the fire shard point is a bit of a heavy traffic area so people will get snooty about it.
I've ran two gatherers almost 24/7 for a couple of months now without problems, might have been bad luck.
Yeah I try to stick with Kagepanda's Shard profile @2000/shard to avoid staying in one area too long.
