If I may speak on behalf of those in the same adversity, I'd say we can not and will not accept the approach and course of action Honorbuddy is currently implementing. Out of observation which is purely based on the sheer amount of threads, posts, and polls (which have been often deleted), there are a lot of customers who used HB solely for PVP/Arena purposes, this is an undeniable fact. In addition, any criticizing or lightly put, disapproved arguments and statements are answered with condemnation. They are either deleted or are simply being closed and openers of such subjects are threatened with authority (e.g.: infractions).

However, to get back on topic: yes, we all praise the HB team, yes we all appreciate the time and effort you all put into your product; but remember this is business. We pay, you provide. Currently, it looks like HB made a harsh decision without consulting and interacting with their consumer database -- resulting apparently in a lot of discomfort and also lost customers. What happened to the whole philosophy of every business, and business transaction: "customer king"? It seems HB is operating in a reverse philosophy, while gladly taking your money all the same.

Saying that HB does not support Arena functions is indeed misleading; as you were offering them on your store, on top of that a whopping 30% revenue's of the products sold on the store (including the arena CRs) went right in HB's pocket. How can you, ethically (and morally) say you do not support this, without sounding misleading?

Well, without sounding misleading ourselves and without further do, you can definitely count that we do not support the decision of disabling HB for arena, but much more importantly, this tyranny and fascism targeted to your own consumers is much less supported.

Sadly this thread will be closed by the communists in a second. I think I've seen the true faces of people that run this company and I don't like it one bit.

Its the same conversation over and over with a different title. Just like the "when will honorbuddy be back up" topics. It all boils down to we either pay for the service and use it or don't. That simple.

How about you pay for a service that suddenly out of the blue is no longer supported, and "NEVER WAS SUPPORTED IN THE FIRST PLACE" like everyone is saying. kinda fucked up huh? I cant use the service i payed for anymore. It all boils down to that.

OP has to realize that due to the massive banwave it is no longer business as usual- HB is bordering on the brink of extinction,IMHO all it will take is another banwave before it loses a lange chunk of its users

NOT SUPPORTED means it can be cut at any time, without any warning and for any reason. Is it really so difficult for you to grasp?

no, this boils down to a lot more then what you might think. someone mentioned the analogy of electric cars, if you purchase a battery for your electric car in a shop were they sell and manufacter electric cars, but it is not their brand, if that stops working because the car manufacters changed the amp required to drive it so that the battery sold in their stores wouldn't work anymore, should you have had any say in it? if it could have been undone and you couldve driven happily but with a small chance of breakdown? probably not, should you have had the right to get refunded for the battery? i would certainly say so.

if they said no, and i decided to post on their forums, to get advice from others or ask answers from them, would it be good and ethical customer support to delete my posts? to delete my threads?

I'll say this again real slow for you.
Turning a blind eye isn't the same as outright supporting something.

They let players use these PVP CR's (Not arena CR's) in arena's. They've now decided to stick to their word and are now disallowing HB entirely while in arena's.
You all knew this, if you didn't know this its because you choose not to.

      Bugger off.

OP also realizes that when HB says Blizzard does not have a detection method, but you get banned based on player reports, the decision of playing arena and taking chances of mass player reports or not should be with me, and not predetermined by an outside source. But this is a little bit off-topic now.

They've never supported CR for arena use. They closed a loophole that was open to allow CR makers to make them. You paid for access to Honorbuddy, and you still have this access, what your intentions were is irrelevant. Grow up.

You people...HB is a business, just like Blizzard is. As it's been pointed out, we don't need another 10 threads on this subject. Making more isn't productive.

Additionally, Just like Blizz, the HB team has every right to close any thread they see fit to close. They are running a business. You are on their forums. If you don't like it, take your business and money somewhere else. They have every right to do whatever they want on their own forums. You have no freedoms here.

i just went though EVERY combat routine in our store. not a single one says "for arena's only" hell the only ones that mention it are the ones that added fixes because people were using it in such a manner. just because its says "PVP" does not mean "for arena's only" you can and should be able to still use them in battlegrounds.

      from the YourRadingBuddy page.
"Added Arena / RGB support (Attacking). I may or may not add extensive pvp support in the future, however I must say that PvP is not supported."

just because you like putting banana's in peoples tail pipes and laughing as they drive away does not mean thats the only use for banana's, as they where meant to be eaten and still can be.

      +1

And to all those who are complaining, if you don't like it, tough, there is nothing you can do to change it, so deal with it and stop the whining. I'm sorry but there are a lot more that agree with Bossland's decision and if you don't, then please feel free to write your own bot that does support arenas, If not, shut up
