Hello. So i've just been pushing through for about 1.5 month now leveling all battleclasses to 50, im almost done with that and it's time to move on to DOTH classes. What im wondering is, how do i level these using rebornbuddy? (Im new to the game, never leveled any of those classes) Is there simple and fast ways to do it with RB or what's your suggestions? I wanna get going ASAP. I got plenty of gold since i purchased some from a gold site, so that's not a problem.
As of now there are no 1-50 crafting profiles. if you have the gil and the leve quest counts then start spamming repeatable levequests with HQ items. If there are none on the market board ask a friend with the class already made to make them for you. or you can make them for yourself. Otherwise buy a ton of mats and setup Lisbeth in the plugin section. you can usually get about 70-90 crafts out of her before you gear goes (i think this is dependent on crafting actions per craft) so leveling your gear may last longer than lengthy end game Leveling Crafting via Levequests: A List of (my) Guides : ffxiv any other google for ffxiv <crafting class name> power leve guide or leveling guide will give you an idea as well. There are more than one way to go about it.
Yeah as Mr McGibblets said you're still going to want to do levequests. I am in the same situation as you, I have my battle classes at 50 and half my DOTH at 50. You can use Lisbeth to grind out some experience but it is very slow relative to leve turn-ins.
As Mr McGibblets suggested, Levequests are your best gains from 25-50. You should be able to handle 1-15 fairly easily by just going through and crafting everything in each tier of the Crafting Log twice, iirc. 15-25 gets a little tricky, but is still ok to grind out just doing multiples in the Crafting Log for those tiers. 25-50, you really don't want to grind out your Crafting Log as it's SUPER slow. 25-50 with Levequests is your best method. As for powerleveling, if you have the Gil, you could do 1-50 with < 80 Levequests in one sitting if you know someone who can craft a list of HQ turn-ins or can buy them from the Market Board. It's likely far more expensive this way, but gets the job done if you need it quick. When Lisbeth 2.0 comes out, that may change.
Awesome. Thanks for the help, in a few days i got all battleclasses on 50 and ill start rocking the other ones!
Since you have plenty of gil, you can leave Lisbeth running and walk away for a few hours at a time. Find a private spot and simply grind stackable mats. For example, grind ores into ingots for BSM, GSM, and ARM. Grind hides into leather for LW. Grind wood into logs for CRP. Almost everything is stackable for CUL, so grind whatever you find least expensive. It is not the fastest way to level DotH but it is definitely safe and simple. You can leave Lisbeth AFK for hours at a time with no problems and no worries. I did this for all of my DotH classes, and I only used leves after level 40 or 45 depending on the price of mats for stackable items. BTW, there are people that use macros for crafting all of the time and they never pay attention to the chat box. They sit next to the computer and hit the macro button every 30-35 seconds. Since non botters do this when crafting, don't worry about your FC or someone else trying to chat with you while you are crafting with Lisbeth (especially if you are in a private area such as a private room in the FC house).
IMO if you have a bot to mine different kinds of ORE, you should do that and just craft ingots using Lisbeth. So Iron Ingots, Steel Ingots, Cobalt Ingots. Pretty much craft anything that can stack with lowest amount of required materials, in this case they would be ingots. Probably should also fill up on shards too, as power leveling crafting eats through them like it's nothing. Although crafting Ingots doesn't apply to all DoH. It will work for jobs like BSM, ARM, GSM and etc. Pretty much just look for the item that require the smallest amount of material to craft at your relevant level, an item that can also stack is also necessary.
You just need to remember that Lisbeth and Agil broke up and are no longer friends. Repair function is broken on Lisbeth until 2.0 comes out so you will need to monitor your durability.
Just to add, if you going crafting route it's good to get Carpenter to 50, Culinarian to 36, and all others to 15 before maxing all out. This way you will have all the essential crossclass abilities, and can start doing some work while waiting for more levequest.
This is true. After a couple of hours, some of your gear will be zero durability and no longer working. This will slow down your leveling until you either repair it or upgrade it. In crafting, this means no HQ items and less experience per craft. In gathering, this means your bot will eventually be standing at a node that it cannot find because of low stats. I was recently told that Agil is working and will repair your gear when it gets below 30%. I am testing it right now. It seems to be working.
