[Official] Statement about Arenas and Battlegrounds

Kuskner thats what i said at page3. All the years blizz want to shut down arena and bg bots. Bossland now shut it down after an banwave.... that banwave happens after bossland won.... nowbody knows how blizz detected the hb user.... all other knowen bots didnt get baned.... i think sth. Is going on and we will not be informed..... i think i lose my trust in hb.....

 

Fair enough. I didn't know about honorbuddys past about the use of the bot in PvP events. So I want to apologize for my previous post

 

On what planet is having all our users banned a reason to say "bossland won" ???

We had a banwave - that means we have been detected. Now we have to make changes to try and avoid more banwaves. Please stop making silly posts.

We have to make a judgement. Sitting around refusing to release HB until Blizzard writes a nice letter explaining what happened is not really an option is it? ;-)

 

Hawker may i ask how close you are? I realise this is asked 123421435 million times a day, and im not expecting "In 1 hour" answer. But are we getting to a good place with the bot?

 

Disable battleground bots too its a great idea... PVP its the soul of the MMORPG's.

One can only hope the bot really has to stay out of the radar as much as possible right now.

 

The info that has come out has said nothing about disabling battleground bots for the HB user. They have stated not making it available for the trial version of HB and are discussing the afking ability but have not made a decision on that yet.

 

You mean they do not write you guys letters with star stickers glued all to it saying "hey you guyzzzzzz!" explaining the inner workings of the anti-cheat systems? Man....I thought I knew how the system worked.

Hawker what i said some post before is, that also people got baned who never ever played arena so there is no reason why bossland should disable the "option" that also means that there is no conclusion in playing arena and getting detected.
So what reason should be there to deaktivate arena. Thats whupdidu. So the question is why should the bot be saver without arena

PVE boy: nice news bossland, can you delete the bg mode too?
PVP boy: you suck bossland, WTF, do you forget every arena player? I bought for 100 $ CR!!
Bossland: I disable the arena for the competitive (because, if my bot is detected again, my reputation is dead and my buisne$$ is over.)

I mentioned last night that this was your stance, I read it on the forums over a year ago, long before the buddy store was even thought of. People only see what they want to see. Common sense tells you that if there is a botbase for just about everything OUT OF THE BOX in honorbuddy, but NOT an 'Arena Bot' it isn't there for a reason...you're a fool if you think an Archaeology Bot would see the light of day before an Arena Bot if it was ever honorbuddys intention to automate arenas.

 

It all started with the buddy store...if you want to have blizzard popping up... you have to tickle their interest.
