one question Bossland....given the number of customers decreases or increases, you have to have some kind of information?
3 different computers. Though before the ban wave i had 7 accounts all running on one computer, 1 ip address. 8x 4ghz core and used all of the 16gb of ram maxed out and did it nearly for a year. Raids, dungeons, questing, no arena though. And didnt get even a warning. Ban wave got me. Thought this time i had a better chance...i was wrong. This time 3 computers, all ready got my charactors to lvl20, no ban. Started questing for an hour and banned. They were waiting for me to purchase the battlechest i reckon.
What do you mean by customers? If you refer to the people been online right now, it continues to increase.
I have already sent an email to the support team with details. Also I'm currently testing new account on the same computer. I'll test it with a laptop of a friend with a new ISP and a new account.
Sure they have login information. If they had any idea what the bots are doing, would they ever need to ask for logs for support? The more information they can get, the faster they will be able to figure it out. Full logs of those accounts that have been banned will show trends which can help direct them towards the real issue/s.
Bossland you guys are gonna need to take some of the money you have made from us and buy several dozen computers and start running the bot and determine the detection, rather then relying the customers to keep wasting there money to do the grunt work.
On a somewhat side not, for someone that post at begining of this thread, im in a 64bit computer with wow set to 32bit and click to move, but not botting, didnt get ban...
listen what level were all you nerds that just got banned? 1-90 or 90-100? can we get like better reports in all the threads i've seen it's either people botting instances that were flagged anyway and fresh 1-10
If you were running them under the same IP don't be surprised. Blizzard is flagging everything that runs 3+ accounts per IP.
Um....did he ask for that to happen? He only said he'd use data from already banned accounts to collect data for possible pattern recognition. Wtf is wrong with you all? Leave it to the experts, wait for official news and go outside for some fresh air ffs. There is literally NOTHING you can do to influence or sway what is happening or what will happen in terms of the future of HB. Helping out in whatever small way you can is optional, not a requirement. Flame me all you want, I'm pretty sure I could care less.
Hammer of justice hit me.... my both farm acc didnt get banned during the last wave. Now iam back from work want to start the new HB and what should i say..... cant logg in both are disbanned..... So i think blizzard has some flagged acounts and ban them now after the new release I think we shouldnt say its anybodys fault...
Could blizzard have been storing some accounts to ban on new honorbuddy release? To cause confusion? I mean it sounds far fetched but in my mind plausible.
