Why I'm warning people about Kicks is because if you read the bansection you'll see that like 5 out of 6 bans or so reported in there is saying that they used questing. There's some more saying the same in random threads across the forum aswell. 1 is saying he used DungeonBuddy when he was banned. I'm not trying to discredit Kicks profiles for nothing but I think people should think twice before using them at the moment.
well thats because the most got banned and try to lvl a new char... yeah with questing... thats why the most reports are reporting kicks...
guys, reset your router and change the ip...1st basic thing to do after you got 6month ban.... Edit: ill wait to 6.2 to start bot again on gold farm account. i'll not create a new account to real play wow because i'll wait till november. i was rading Mystic and i was getting galdiator again(w/o the bot) and i feel i should back to do that till i have my 10 y/o account back! Just create battelchest account to farm gold gold gold 24/7
hehe, i don't have static IP because it's a payed service where i live =p but anyway, it's only a fast call
Theres a screenshot in my first post in this thread and two in my thread in the bansection, one of the ban-email and one of the ticket I made appealing the ban + GM answer.
I see that now. That GM made sure to mention that you are becoming labeled as a repeat offender, huh? I wouldn't be surprised to find out Blizzard is keeping records on a player, by player basis. Meaning any account you create with the same personal information will be flagged as being owned by the same player that has been caught botting. I personally have never been caught. And I AFK Quest level like a machine. I'm guessing this had more to do with your history and less to do with which botbase you were using.
It's a possibility for sure. However, I think (THINK, not know, not confirmed by any devs but only what I THINK) I got caught using Kicks. Maybe they were looking closer since I was flagged or something like that, maybe not. Why I think like this is because of almost all bans have been delivered to people using Kicks. That's why I think people should be really careful with his 1-100 package at the moment.
I understand that there's always a risk associated with botting, however how safe is it in anyones opinion to just use "combat bot" in raids or dungeons with movement turned off just automated-rotation compared to say using kicks leveling profiles? I'm assuming the risk is much smaller?
Yea, the outrage usually comes after very unsophisticated logic, shared in public. So if someone used to actively smoke for 20years, then finally stop, but die just a year later from lung cancer, what could have committed to his death? He was not smoker recently, so can we safely assume it is not from the smocking, right?
I dunno, was he a welder? Did he work with asbestos all his life also? Did he live in a big city with smog? SO many variables
You're such a Kick fanboy man. I did NOT base my assumption on my ban alone but that in fact ALL bans but ONE ran Questing (all but one ban used Kicks). What does this tell you? That Questing is more likely to result in a ban than DungeonBuddy. Atleast in my world. Also I didnt state anywhere that "Kicks profile is detected". I simply recommended people not to use it since it's too risky at the moment and if you would actually read the ban section you'd see that I'm right. This is also why I think it was my 1 hour session that got me banned and not my 20 hour DungeonBuddy session. No, using kicks 1-100 wont 100% result in a ban but given the information we do have its more likely to result in a ban than using DungeonBuddy. Logic (and proof) actually tells us that running Questing is more risky than running dungeons. Who's having unrealistic logic now, huh?
