Open up the patrol options menu under plugins. Where is says something about attacking levels below you, take your current level minus 2. Put that number in the slot, it by default is set to 50 levels below you.

Yes, if you are 4 you would set it to 2 levels below you. Only allowing you to attack mobs level 2 and above

Almost the same settings shown in the OP. But I have Boss Fates at 10% and level requirement unchecked.

If you plan on updating this in the future, will you be adding the training dummies so they're black listed?

Logs can be misleading. In addition, I would highly recommend removing Magitek since it is outdated and no longer supported and likely to cause issues with RebornBuddy. I know it shows you using Kupo, but it is still loading Magitek anyway.

Your 75KB (smaller) log does not contain any errors; no point in posting that one.
Your ~2MB (massive) log is over 33,000 lines long. Do you have any small logs that contain the error?

Edit: upon review, it looks like the exception is thrown when a mob is targeted that cannot be attacked for some reason (already dead?), and then the bot continues on happily without any issues. Are you seeing a problem with the bot, or are you just noticing the exception and reporting that it is broken? I don't see Rebornbuddy crashing/stopping after these errors.

I only see one crash at the end of your long log, well after the last Patrol exception was thrown, and it appears to be network related. I believe you are having a crashing issue with RebornBuddy, and you are applying correlation to prove causation and thus blame the Patrol plugin.

At best, we can look into why the plugin is targeting invalid mobs; however, this will not fix your issue, only remove the exception messages from the log.

I tried to reproduce the error but it is simply not possible on my side.
The Line in question at 112 doesn't do anything special
possible_target.MaxHealth>(Core.Player.MaxHealth*5). So reither your owm Health cannot be read or the Targets health.
DO you have a location where this happens. Or a special Zone. Since without beeing able to reproduce it. its like searching for a needle in a haystack.

And please keep a certain tone in this thread. Cloud is right wiht his analysis.
If I look at your logs
your bot stopps becuase you send in a too short timeframe too many navigation requests to the Nav server. Which he interprets a a denial of service attack and Kills our bot.

This only proves that we try to read the Health of a dead Mob. which fails. So we carry on. If this would be a problem your bot would crash rigth there and it doesn't.

What gets your bot killed is requesting

I'm going to break the plug in down for you a bit from what I understand by reading through the code, which you are welcome to do yourself for this plugin that dark wolf is both providing and supporting at no charge:

The plugin fills a list of possible mobs based on specified criteria.
After that, it goes through that list one by one and attacks each mob that still fits the criteria or until an appropriate fate is started.
From what I can tell, if one of these mobs in the list no longer applies, it returns what is called a 'null' which I believe then throws the exception. Now, that exception in and of itself is just a message indicating something happened, not a crash and not necessarily an issue. It is simply saying the current mob in the list is being skipped.

If the Patrol plugin is causing a crash, I do not see it indicated in the log. If you see the portion which indicates where it crashed and some lines referencing the crash, please point them out.

Here is the line I think is important:
      Code:
[01:46:29.165 N] Too many packets sent.
      [01:46:29.167 N] Stopping the bot.
      [01:46:29.167 D] CurrentBot.Stop()
      [01:46:29.167 N] Connection closed! 192.99.148.87:31214
"Packets" is a network term, and I believe it indicates that it has attempted to send a number of requests without any responses and has shut down due to the lack of a response in the network.

By the way, here is the thread on MagiTek for you to see it's current state: https://www.thebuddyforum.com/rebornbuddy-forum/combat-routines/155220-magitek.html The link to the CR has been removed and the thread locked because it has not been updated in nearly a year.

What kind of puzzles me is that you seem the only one having this issue.
And by the way I uploaded today a version in which I try to figure out your problem and maybe even fix it.
Did you ever try it with ultima CR? As I asked you?
And you musst forgive me that I cant reproduce your error since the CR you are using is not longer available. So my chances here are limited.
The exception you saw is because we try to get the Healt of a target which died in between.

Since you seem to be eager to prove that it is this plugin. Please run a clean copy of RB wiht only ultima CR and patrol.
If you reproduce this problem again with this configuration I will spend more time to fix it since I could actually reproduce it on my side.

      I would agree with this.

I noticed you have RePear and Magitek installed, which are outdated and will likely cause issues simply by enabling them - I suggest no longer continuing to use them.

As for the crashes, that could be due to RB server issues or too many pathing requests to the nav server in too short a time (getting your session closed because it is being perceived as a DDoS attack and reacting as a preventative measure).

If you can reproduce the issue with a clean install, then dark could spend more time on it, but aside from you doing that test, with the way the discourse has gone, I wouldn't be surprised if you don't get much more help with your issue from dark or (especially) Cloud. The community around here has been very friendly (with the rare occurrence to the contrary) and I'd like it to stay that way. I'm not saying you can't express your opinion, but if someone that isn't the author is providing support to try and resolve your issue, I'd at the very least remain respectful towards them unless they show disrespect first.

If there are working versions of these, I was not aware of that. If I am wrong, I apologize and would like you to point me to where the latest versions are so I can give them another go myself.

I know for a fact that he's been trying to help and figure out what's going on with your issue(s). He's brought it up in dev chat on more than one occasion this week.

Internet tough guy, it seems? That's very productive of you to tell me to "shut up." Real productive indeed.

If you want a direct line with the author of this plugin (or the person trying to update it), there are these things called private messages. If you don't want random people to chime in (who are trying to help, despite your rude responses), don't post publicly.

Who pissed in your Corn Flakes?

I repeat: "I know for a fact that he's been trying to help and figure out what's going on with your issue(s). He's brought it up in dev chat on more than one occasion this week."

Then wait for an update instead of coming back into the topic and being rude to people? That's a healthy start, at least.

the way you are treating here the guys who do in their freetime development for this bot is kind of special.
From my point of view I will not spend more time to help you with this bot or the plugins.

You run a special environmen of not even available software on this forum.
I am not able to reprodcue the error. Never the less I did a new version which you never tested obvoiusly.
You ignore the hints of all developers who try to politely explain you that this exception (which is fiexed in the newest version ) is not your problem.

And I will recomend the same to all other devs here.

      DarkShado,

First, you need to post a FULL log to have the issue analyzed by those that actually know what's going on.

Second, GreyMagic errors are usually caused by interfering programs with YOUR installation.
The recommendation to do a 'clean install' and repeat the problem is an excellent first step.
You may find these two articles helpful:

And lastly, YOU NEED TO QUIT TROLLING the developers and those trying to help.

      cheers,
      chinajade

Is Zekken enabled? If so does the crash happen when Zekken is avoiding multiple AoE sources? This too can result in the nav server being being spammed, causing the server to boot you, stopping the bot and causing the ReadMemory error. I'm not saying it's Zekken , or Indeed Patrol, but it could be the use of both at the same time. As I'm sure I've read, both plugins limit the amount of requests they send, but both at the same time could still swamp the nav server. Just a thought.
