Hello, I've been considering buying HB, for a while, but with the recent ban-wave and just lack of knowledge i've been holding off. I am not new to botting in video games, although I AM new to botting in WoW. Here are some of my questions/concerns: 1. Is it safe? I've been skimming the forums and a few people here and there are saying that even after the recent patch it is still no longer safe. 2. I do not wish to bot on my main, what steps do i need to take to minimize the possibility of them discovering my main (I do realize there will always be a chance they will ban my main, just wondering what i can do to minimize that chance). 3. Since I do not wish to bot on my main, that would require another bnet account. Will I have to buy all the xpac's again? 4. How good is it at making gold? I'm not doing it to get tons of level 100's, I've done that initial grind for gold, it's not fun. 5. How many of you are successful? How much gold have you made? How many level 100's? How long did it take you? What have you lost in return? Thank you to everyone who helps me out and answers my questions! (Also I apologize if all these answers are located in a sticky somewhere)
1. it's never 100% safe. 2. don't associate the bot with your main account at all. 3. yes. 4. as good as you are willing to put the effort in.
Thank you very much for helping me out a couple more things, How often does blizz IP ban? and in YOUR opinion, Is it worth it to spend money buying all xpacs with the possibility of being banned immediately? Do the pro's outweigh the cons?

I just checked, they're 'unavailable' only available for in-store pick up now, and my nearest fries is about 100 miles away.
Like the other guy was saying that you don't need to buy all of the xpacs, in my mind you do, it's just all in a single battlechest. Just the way I've looked at it, if others don't then sorry for the confusion. If you're going for the gold grind then you really should only need battlechest accounts to achieve your goals. Many people bot dungeons on lvl 90's in old instances, which averages in my experience 700-1000 gph. On average my accounts usually make at least 250-300k before getting banned which, not accounting for the time it takes to lvl to 90, would make the account worth it. Just know that there's a chance to get banned whilst leveling, though my recent accounts seem to have been able to make it to 90 safely. And IP bans, never had one and really don't know much about them/see them on the forums often.
1. Never consider it safe. Rule 1: Don't bot on something you're not willing to lose. 2. Use a virtual machine with some sort of ip changer is what I do, then its just a matter of transferring things to your main as sneakily as possible. 3. You need to buy a battlechest (which includes up to MoP) and then Warlords. 4. I was making 300k a month running 2 bots, that could be considered low I guess, but i wasn't running them 24/7. 5. Millions. And 15+ level 100s. One appealed perma ban and one 6 month ban.
Level 90 farming accounts are really on top of the ban radar right now. Be really carful if you go down that route.
1. never safe, blizz clearly showed, when they step down, we lose. 2. dont send gold or items from main to botting account and vice versa and you should be ok. 3. you dont need a new bnet. but its better. seen more the enough here with 5+ accounts on their bnet and main not botting account still safe. Heirlooms are nice. But as said, its safer to make a new one and looms are bought for peanuts now. You dont need all xpcs. till mop is what, 9 euros. And then 29 for wod. Before you buy wod, lvl one to 60, make a dk lvl him to 58. Get 2 professions u want on him, expensive to lvl ones, and boost that one to 90, instant 600 profs. 4. depends on what u want to do. Theres still some brain needed if you dont go grind 24/7 or whatever. Do some research and find what u can make gold with. I mean, im not botting no more and with little effort i make 100 k in a week or so. Just find out if your reason to bot is worth the risk you are taking and u will be fine. 5. made millions of gold, lost it all. 2 main accounts. 30+ lvl 90-100. one appealed perma turned into a 72 hours and one 6 month ban.
