I can support this thread, having the same issue. I can run The Witcher 3, Farcry 4, and Biochock Infinite at the same time max settings and have better fps than I get when questing with singular and framelock. AMD 8350 4.34 GHz 8x core Nvidia Gf GTX 970 OCd 8 GB RAM
dx9 wouldnt help because im using dx9 i also tryed dx10 framelock is just laggy i dont lag without framelock
Stuttering issues that came with .788 are not fixed in .790 Even at high fps it still feels laggy with framelock enabled. EDIT: Just tested a bg and fps still go down to 30-40.
I switched from enyo because well.. now today even bobbys has dropped 10 fps making it actually worse than before.
Tony..if you cant reproduce I am happy to do a Skype session where you can see mine..ive got a water cooled CPU overclocked and its dropping 5-15 fps most of the time its crazy
The problem with HB lagging at high FPS is that the frametime varies too much. Even if you have 120 FPS some of the frames take an absurd amount of time to complete and some are done quick and normally. This makes it feel laggy and stuttering. But the general performance and frametime (with framelock enabled) suffered as well. Still drops to a low amount of FPS sometimes. I had more FPS and less stuttering with hb 787 and 60TPS framelock enabled than i have with 788+ builds and 15TPS framelock enabled. I've already contacted the dev's about it. I've been talking to Tony and chinajade as well because i'm pretty much sure i know what is causing this. Demonbuddy users have exactly the same problem as you can read here. I've wrote raphus a message again. Hopefully he'll contact me and we get this sorted out.
