As title says, should I bot on a different computer than my main one? Would it be safer for my main? Thank you in advanced.

No, just don't interact with your main from your botting account (sending mail, etc) and it will be safe.

      Safe is a strong word.
It might be "safer" but not safe.

Using a dedicated bot system might work better for security and keep your main "safer". Just don't interact your main to the bot account basically.

All the games I have ever botted and been banned from never has my main account been affected. But yeah I guess the safest route would be botting on a dedicated machine while using a VPN.

      It's a corrupt system.

People bought gold for their account since since 5 years from the same person, neither one got banned.
People bought gold for their account for the first time. Buyer and / or seller gets banned.

Everything is random. No one can really say when someone will get banned.

The safest way to bot is not botting at all.

I for one don't really care. It's either fuck the system or get fucked by the system.
Same goes for real life. I always bought my tickets for the bus or the train. Never, not even once someone came to controll if I posess a ticket.

Once I'm in a hurry and forget to buy a ticket and instanly get controlled.

I have previously botted on the same computer that my main account is played on, and I mean 5-10 accounts not just 1-2.
The botting accounts received bans as they should and my main account remained untouched.

The only thing I would look out for is using your main account as a mule account. I've done so and not been banned for it but I wouldn't advise doing so.

Overall from my personal experience it's fine having a bot account on the same computer on your main account, but just don't bot on your main account or interact with it using the botting accounts
Although I would say it would be SAFER having another computer for botting, although it's not a necessity

I think using a VPN might in itself be a flag. I think using an ISP IP would be safest in general. No way to know for sure though.

It depends on how are you planning to bot.

Botting for lols (levelling, raiding like you actually knew how, pet battling) or casual botting (if you wanna call it that way), is not frowned upon by Blizzard as botting for gold.

You wanna bot for gold ( selling gold, funding your main)? You should better use a different PC , and if possible, a different IP.

In case of a manual investigation, they'll look deeply into every account sharing that IP. Any link, no matter how weak it is, will end up with your main getting banned. You seem to care, so don't take that risk.

In my personal case, having level 1 alts on guilds used for botting was enough for banning my main, being in a dif. comp and never botting at all. So, be aware it can happen.
