[N] Felblight skinning profile, 15-20 per hour

Hi guys!

I've decided to share a simple profile I wrote earlier today. I've been using this route since 6.2 dropped, and I've made around 60k on the felblights with minimal farming. Most I've gotten in an hour is 30, the least was 15. (Note that the area is pretty much uncontested on my server, so how many you get an hour may be much less, depending on the activity in this spot on your server). It's also got a repair-vendor

I've been running it for 2 hours now, and no signs of getting stuck anywhere. It's also only tried with a DK, but it shouldn't make a difference.



Any constructive criticism is welcome!

Edit: I recommend putting on "Ninja skin" in the setting, as a lot of people kill the ravagers without actually skinning them
Edit2: Also, remember to enable "Kill between hotspots"

seems fine, was only 150 an hour the first 40 mins or so... been going good now.

same as above, this doesnt work.

 

Mine averaged at around 340 kills an our, so it should be a little more.

 

As for you other two, where did you start the bot? Are you sure you have the meshes for Tanaan downloaded properly? I had the same problem as you until yesterday

 

Actually, don't know how you got 260. Was there a lot of other people there?

My results from this morning

it also just spams moving to hotspot but not acutally moving!

 

That's very weird. I've tried starting mine from different places in Tanaan, and in all cases it found it's way.

Have you tried making a new folder for the mesh? I recall reading somewhere that that should help.

 

I start the bot anywhere in the circle makred on your map!!

 

i did put it in a new folder and launched it, same thing. I use grind bot but when i installed the file it came up a internet explorer page with all the codes and the url was named after where the file was downloaded. maybe it is what causes the problem? but how to fix it?

 

Try to do a reinstall of Honorbuddy then, if you just updated it after the last patch.

It being opened in Internet Explorer is because it's an XML file (like all profiles), and your computer usually opens them in a web browser unless you specify something else. What do you mean by installed the file?

 

so in english how to fix the download problem xD? I reinstalled it after the patch other profiles works

 

From what I've read around, the meshing of Tanaan Jungle is pretty poor. It still doesn't explain why it works for me and not for you, though. Have you tried any other profiles for Tanaan?
