I've been using honorbuddy for a while now. I know a lot of you might gasp when I tell you this, but I used it ONLY on my main account. I HAVE botted 24/7 days on end. I HAVEN'T Ever received a ban on it. Not even a suspension. I have leveled almost one of every class from 1-90 using kicks profiles. I think It may just be a giant streak of luck. Not sure. All I know is Honorbuddy has been very kind to me. Well worth the purchase. I'm not sure if anything may factor into why I was never banned. I have spent a ridiculous amount of money on and towards my account. Realm transfers, faction changes, mounts, pets etc. All from the blizzard store. I have bought gold, mounts and challenge mode completions from different websites as well. Not sure if they figure that some nerd is spending tons of money, there would be no reason to ban him. Thanks to honorbuddy I have a massive account with a lot of fun characters to play when I get bored. After the latest banwave, I haven't touched honorbuddy though. I guess in my head I'm letting it cool down for a little. Thanks honorbuddy for taking out the grueling leveling sequence many of us have done numerous times by hand. You are my skip button.
Good stuff, glad you have managed to keep your account for so long. You didn't get banned because you managed to never get reported by another player. It's when people leave their bots on 24/7 farming the same spot for gold day after day that get banned. I managed to run 25 bots constantly for over a month gold farming the same dungeon over and over. I probably made millions of gold in that time Blizzard has filters that auto-ban bots but if you are a casual botter using honorbuddy for personal reasons, then you will last until someone reports you. If you monitor your bot most of the time, you can also avoid this.
I've been using honorbuddy since 2010 and have never received a warning/suspension/ban this whole time. My theory is if you aren't sending gold between accounts or posting 100+ auctions you won't raise any red flags unless another player reports you.. I used to afk farm herbs and ore for 12+ hours a day for months and i sold my stacks to people using Trade chat, never posted on the AH. If I did it was around 30 stacks never more.
I never used the account to sell gold or make gold. That might be on my side too. As well as not farming profession materials.
