Hello everyone, Im currently looking at getting Reborn Buddy or Viperbot and starting up a few accounts. My question is, does Reborn Buddy have any profiles that auction the materials the bot farms? Ideally I would like a profile that would farm for xyz hours, recall, and then post up auctions and keep them current for xyz hours. So far I havent really seen anyone mentioning MB listing as a perk of their bot, so I figured id ask in case I missed it. Thanks.
I don't see the need for that in this game. Usually the items that sell well are the crafted ones, which you will only have a few of. This isn't like WoW where you have large amounts of herbs and ore. I would also be wary of creating anything that SE would hate. Automated actions seems like something they would go after, like RMT.
If we had this feature, items would crash so hard. Bot gathers materials, reaches desired amount, sells on MB for 1 gil less, other people will sell 1 gill or more less, rinse and repeat until so many postings are up due to automation. I'm not in favor for this no matter how convenient it is. If it auto sells at an NPC, that's a lot more acceptable.
Not really the XIV market would be crazy hard to crash since items are based on rareness and even if you could make a bot profiles for some stuff it wouldn't crash the market kinda like Timeworm Silk is sitting at 4.5m and will stay around there for a long long time
Addons that handled undercutting on WoW didnt crash that market. People arent stupid, once something gets low enough they wait it out or buy the current stock and re-up.
Well items like electrum and some shards on my server will keep dropping until someone buy them. Electrum on my server was 300-400 then dropped down to like 50 once. Some people on my server undercut by quite a bit on my server sometimes which causes that item to crash also when there's too many of the item on the market.
I won't deny it. I've sold electrum all the way down to 25 gil. That was before I discovered crystal farming. I HAD to move electrum, because of the space it was consuming. I don't play that market anymore,
