Removing setting folder didnt work. Removed HB and reinstall it on a different partition didnt work. Help??
remove: - microsoft visual c++ 2010 x86 redistributable - microsoft visual c++ 2012 x86 redistributable restart your pc, download the installationwizard https://www.thebuddyforum.com/attach...uddywizard-zip run them as administrator. after wizard installation is done, run windows update. And install all updates for .net & c++ restart
Tried it 5 times more without success! Reinstalled .net framework 4.5.2 so to be sure no success aswell. So please tell me what my other options are? Because yesterday everything worked fine.
Is there something that causes this to happen that I can avoid in the future? HB worked fine yesterday and now today I will need to follow your instructions Tony (I've had to do this many times in the past). I suppose what I'm asking is what manner of things causes us to have to do this and is there any way we can take preventative action in the future? Edit: I also went through the recommended steps Tony and this doesn't seem to fix the problem. I'm still stuck on the "Checking for Buddy Store Products."
You mean my World of Warcraft cache folder? And no there is no firewall or antivirus software running.
Check this thread Maik and see if this helps you at all. I recently solved this for myself. https://www.thebuddyforum.com/honor...0770-stuck-checking-buddy-store-products.html
I have done the following to no avail 1. Removed - microsoft visual c++ 2010 x86 redistributable - microsoft visual c++ 2012 x86 redistributable 2. Restarted pc, 3. Downloaded the installationwizard https://www.thebuddyforum.com/attach...uddywizard-zip 4. Ran them as administrator. 5. Ran windows update. And installed all updates for .net & c++ 6. Restarted 7. Ensured no firewall/antivirus is running 8. Cleared cache folder Something I've noticed happening that isn't normal is that the HonorBuddy client minimizes right after I start it up (as it's logging in). It normally does not do this. **EDIT** Fixed I logged into the BuddyStore and disabled some of my purchases and it now works again. I did not do a trial and error to see exactly which purchase was causing the problem (if it was in fact one purchase). This worked!
