i keep having a problem with gb logging out in vashjir because it keeps interupting itself while mounting... anyone else getting this issue? it swims around... starts to mount, then does something nearly immeatily after and interupts it.
I have attached the end portion of the log where the problem is. This happens very often in this zone and is becomming very annoying.
i just tried again... and here is my logfile... it took 9 times to mount. the first half it would interupt it nearly instantly... after that it would interupt it about 3/4 of the way through the cast. **edit after watching more of the problem... seems to occur only once i have gone into combat with something.... if i dont go in combat, it works fine... after killing the mob the problem starts.
Mine does same thing. It will ascend to mount, then as cast to mount does a twitch. Will attempt again, twitch. Or it will try to go back to path before the cast is done, interrupting it. Then it will stop. Ascend. Try to cast again. Swim off before done. Over and over till logs off. I have given up on vash for now due to this. For me I blame my computer think maybe too lagy. Sometimes I hit 10fps. Maybe the lag is causing it. Things you can try. Put mount on 1 instead of a macro. The macro can delay the start of cast which makes take too long, GB doesn't have patience and interrupts. Also look at your fps, is it low or high? If we can figure this out will help me too
Well my fps floats between 20 and 30 in windowed mode, my latency sits between 50-75... those seem like good enough numbers, and i dont seem to expirence any lag. I am not using a mounting macro, i manually put the mount on button 1. But you described it well, it ascends to mount, hits 1, and immeatily interupts it... like within .1 secs with a twitch or something... then occasionally it will happen about 3/4 way through the cast. I really need an answer for this problem, i imagine many more are having this issue as well and either failed to report the bug, or gave up on the zone.
bump.. looking for a timely reply from a dev, as you may have noticed... not very patient with non existant support for software i pay to use.
noticed this is still a problem, its just much better than it was.... it still happens frequently following combat. just instead of 9 attempts, it works in 3 or 4. (with the newest version) still does that twitch that interupts mounting as soon as it attempts to cast it.... the 3/4 of the way through stuff seems to have stopped though.

my latency is 110, my framerate is 40-50 in windowed mode... cpu in task manager is around 30% and it is only using less than 500mb of ram.
