Anyone banned for strictly using CR's

I got banned with many others a few months ago and was wondering if anyone out there has been banned while only using a combat routine since then? I would like to come back to WoW and am only interested in using the CR's and not any gathering or mission type. Just curious if anyone has observed this to be true or not. Thanks in advance for any information you can provide me with.

nope never got banned for only using my routines with enyo or lazyraider bans comes where you use the bot automatic for it doesend have to be always be banned but it happens sometimes

I also lost accounts for purely using CR.......one account I used after my original ban I simply and only used with Enoy and Tuanha, it fits with my believe that at that specific time they identified the BOT (perhaps not now).
However lets be honest there are plenty of markers that Blizz can search for on their client base that may suggest a BOT (before the flaming trolls kick in).

yep, plenty of our guild lost there main accounts for CR only.

 

thats why you have 2 accounts one for playing legit healing with vuhdo is quite easy and one for quest botting evry 4 days 20k gold and then transforing to main account with no bots where you play legit on

 

a bot is a bot, don't matter what you do with it, probs less chance of a player report but that's it.

 

I know when I just palyed Affliction lock my crappy gear brought on many intense questions from guildies asking how in the world was I doing that kind of DPS! ..I took a break from that Lock and quietly left the guild one day becasue the accusations were flying and I didnt want to lose my account ..Now I avoid seroius raiding guilds and mostly pvp etc ..(Not Arena however).

I think seasoned palyers can definately spot a Bot ..I just wished I had other botting friends I could trust enough to form a guild and really rape the game with ..it would be super fun that way ..but I know its not encouraged for obvious reasons.

Anyone who played with a CR inside Arena's generated user reports. Not a big logical leap to think people who got outplayed, outsmarted, or felt like something was off with the way things happened to right click your portrait... happens enough times and you are toast unfortunately.

 

That's a good point, I didn't get banned in the last banwave for I only pugged on Raid Finder an LFG very occasionally. I never did Arena or PVP, guess that what saved my ass... I used a LOT of Tuanha and Kicks for leveling some chars, even though, didn't got the ban.

 

I was under the impression that the HB team felt the bot wasn't detected. But instead Blizzard might have scanned user systems to determine if the bot was being used/present.

Perhaps those that didn't get banned in the last wave were not online at the time of the scan?

 

Seems perfectly reasonable for me. I just came back from a 6 month break. And my account hasn't been banned in the last ban wave.

 

Yeah, that too... I wasn't playing for on month or two during the banwave, that might have saved my ass more than believing that I got safe for not playing Arenas. Well, I am away from WoW for good, I can't play without HB anymore and the CRs were my only reason to have fun with this game.

I moved on and I am not coming back as it seems, I doubt HB will ever be safe, it never was and the banwave proves it.
