First off: if this is the wrong place to post about this, I apologise and hopefully it can get moved.

Alright, so on to the topic. I am considering buying RBB (Rebornbuddy :p), but I am unsure of how easy it is to set up and how good it actually is.
I would mainly use it for my first, very first, character so that I can get it to 50.

From what I have read it requires quite a lot of plugins and supervising. Which I am okay with, I am a veteran from honorbuddy and many previous bots aswell.

Is it worth the money to get this bot? Or should I continue my search? If it is worth it, is there a guide for me to get started right off the bat?

      Thanks :)

To be honest, the only thing you really need to get started on a new character is the 1-50 official questing pack. Plugins and a Combat Routine can prove helpful, but are not required to get started on a new account/character. Just be aware that the current state of the official questing pack requires heavy monitoring - as long as you don't mind interacting with the game (up to every few minutes), then that's all you'll need to start.

To me personally, it does everything I need it to do currently and a few things I would like to do on my account that I still haven't been able to yet. It does its job well, with consistency, which is very important to me. I may be biased, but I would very much recommend it. ;)

As a side-note, what are your end-goals with your account? Just to level up and then take over the gameplay manually? Farming materials to make Gil? Playing the Market Board (Auction House) through Crafting? Using a CR to control your character's rotation during end-game content? [Insert your goal here.]?

I dont mind interacting every once in a while really :)

What I am going to do is basically use a CR to do rotations while I do endgame stuff :) Is that possible or a WIP? :)

PS: Thanks SO Much for your long response, did not expect that :)

Level 60 CRs (or at least their optimized rotations) are still in development, iirc. The Combat Assist, Mud Assist and other botbases in the future that are being worked on will handle your rotation for you while you control movement, so while you can currently do that now, rotations are not optimized for level 60 end-game content. They work well enough, but don't put you at the top of the meters, iirc. As for tanking, enmity (threat) is still a WIP as additional mobs cannot be tracked if I follow the discussion properly, but hopefully that will be fixed in the future for botbases that handle movement - if you control movement, though, I believe tanking rotations do work well enough as well at this time.

If you plan on leveling secondary classes, Fate Bot works well for these and is the best way to level classes beyond your first one - just steer clear of Northern Thanalan FATEs for the forseeable future due to reporting. It has calmed down in that zone, but it's far safer to grind FATEs in another zone, even if it's slower.

If you plan on doing more with RB, such as farming for mats or Gil, it handles those quite well. :)

Good to hear! Don't forget that if you're having any issues with a particular botbase, CR, plugin or profile, that you post in that specific topic... and always try to include a full log file (found in your "Logs" folder) that shows the issue you are experiencing, even if you aren't familiar with reading the log yourself.

If you're having any general issues with RB itself, the RB Support forum is where you'll need to go.

If you need to post any general questions about the game or RB itself (not support-related), this forum is where you need to be. You posted this topic in the correct forum, to clarify. ;)

Let us know how your experience goes after a week (or a few) and good luck! :D

"Raid Grade" CRs are still missing for most classes; It would probably be a good idea to check for your target class to have one.

You can find that option after logging in to your BuddyAuth (http://www.buddyauth.com/) acccount.
