Is there a way to get a better stamina management because using this I finish most race with over 20% stamina left...
I think the original bot works, but it far from perfect. a lot of the Community had put out updates that fine tuned it but currently they dont work
Okay! Thanks for the reply, I'll give it a shot when I get home to see how it runs! Hopefully someone can update it in the future
I checked the differences between the original release and the community updates, and re-applied the changes made by Mrydeen to work with the current 3.x client. It works quite well. I left it running for ages and consistently placed within the top 4, with only around 2% of races placing at last place for whatever reason. ymmv.
Thanks. I tried it out whats your chocobo's stats? I always come in from last or 6th with that file. Its because I always run out of stamina about 3/4 of the way round the track. I tried changing the public int SprintDuration = 6000; from 8000 to 6000 but it still runs out around the same. Any idea?
Hmm... 6000 should be fine at low ranks, I remember I always finished with at least some stamina at that setting. Did you restart RB after you changed the duration? RB recompiles the source files on launch if I understand it correctly. As for stats, I've only fed my chocobo 2 Grade 2 Stamina food, the rest of the stats coming from natural rank up growth. I did place quite low for a while until my chocobo's stats were decent enough for me to bump up the sprint duration and thus start to place better. It depends on how you're placing. I started off pretty slow as I was low ranked, but at this point (around rank 30), I'm probably making around 2000 MGP an hour.
Nope. I've modified the botbase settings to enable changing of the sprint duration and sprint 'break' (the resting time between sprints). I watch a few races and tweak the duration/break until the chocobo can reliably run out of stamina around the end of the race (minus all external factors like buffs and debuffs). I leave it going all day, once in a while I would watch a few races and rejig the numbers according to the race difficulty and natural stat growth. 3 days of this, and I now have a G5 chocobo.
After actually testing what I released, it looks like even when you change the duration via the settings form, you still need to restart RB in order for the new value to actually get used. I find it odd since when I output to log the SprintDuration/SprintBreak right before the actual Sleep() call, it shows the correct new value in the log, but the Sleep() call continues to use the value it was on RB launch. Haven't really had the time to investigate, since I don't change my values any more (finally maxed a Chocobo that conistently gets 150-200 MGP per run), so if anyone wants to have a go at it, be my guest!
sooo I'm trying to use this, read all the threads.grabbed newest copies of stuff people have posted but I still either get last place or do not finish, and always 100 percent stamina left over....soooo what do I need to fix? edit...ok I went to botbase and checked the send run key..seems to be helping but only if I keep the game window on top edit 2...so with the send run key, I now get 7th place pretty consistently, sometimes 6...any way to push for higher?
I found the newest botbase is stucked in race result. It's taking about 7-8second for exiting the race.
PHP: I've been trying the more recently posted botbase but it's still not pushing W during the race itself.
Should work fine provided that you have the "send keys thing" tickbox ticked and saved, and have the ffxiv window in focus
Being completely useless at this kind of thing, can anyone write out a short method for installing and getting this bot to work? If it's not too much trouble.
