  • Error trying to save the setting file: The file exists.

      Bot basically sits still and does nothing, except basic movement. I have tried clearing the settings, and still continues to do it.

      I've tried deleteing the settings folder, it just gets recreated.

      tried to clear the whole settings folder?

      Yes, I have tried to delete the entire folder before, there is nothing even in the settings folders, just Settings > Server > Character > Empty

      and even while its running it just auto creates another settings folder, which again is all blank.

      Hi, Glorie,

      This is a permissions problem with your system that you will have to isolate.

      First, lets try reinstalling Honorbuddy someplace besides Documents. We highly recommend C:/Honorbuddy/ or C:/Games/Honorbuddy/. Certain Windows directories have additional and poorly-documented constraints placed on them.

      If that yields no joy, delete the WHOLE settings directory (e.g., .../Honorbuddy/Settings/), and allow Honorbuddy to recreate it.

      Still having the exact same issue. on a fresh install, and saved the program as you suggested as C:/Honorbuddy

      H again, Glorie, and sorry you still have issues.

      Are you running the WoWclient and Honorbuddy with Windows Admin privileges?
      (I.e., right-click on the executables and "Run as administrator")

      The only other thing I can think of is you've got a program that is interfering with proper Honorbuddy operation. This could be an Antivirus, BTSync, or a lot of other things. This article should help you walk through those possibilities:

      Bot just stands there and moves around and doesn't do anything, will upload another log after BG>

      Not sure if its relevant or not, but HB lags badly, on the program side, I click stop, and it wont stop, have to end up going to task manager ending process, a few times program stops responding all together...

      Not sure if this will help solve the problem, but the HB is also not saving any preferences. ie, my user Key, or any settings such as auto equipping.
