what language to learn?

Hi all.. might be a stupid question to some but..

what language should i start learning to really get the hang of building profiles/botbases and such
is it visual C#?

I know the basics and can get my way around using Orderbot... but would like to get more into the advanced stuff =)

Learning XML syntax is also a high priority, since that is how all OrderBot profiles are written.
