Hello All, I made this profile in request to this thread: https://www.thebuddyforum.com/honor...sion/221426-profile-farm-bloodlust-items.html It's pretty simple, and there should be enough hotspots and mobs that there shouldn't be a problem with competition. It will grind on the main mobs associated with the drops and any other mob that has the potential to drop the item. Bot to Use: Questing Location: Silithus - Can be started from anywhere, quickest options are to start from Stormwind or Orgrimmar, this will use the Uldum portal then fly over to Silithus, otherwise it will move to Kalimdor regardless of faction. Purpose: To Farm items for the Bloodlust Transmog Set. It will grind the main mobs but some of the surrounding mobs also have a chance to drop the items so it will grind them as well. Repair: Yes - Vargus in Cenarion Hold Mailbox: Yes - Cenarion Hold Quests: No AFK: Should be 100%, I have not tested the profile so I can't attest, but unless its getting stuck somewhere it should be fine to leave alone. Requirements: Be able to kill level 55-60 Mobs. Notes: There is a lot of transmog gear that drops from these mobs so I put them in the protected items list. But I commented out a bunch so they don't fill up your bags. Feel free to delete / uncomment / comment them out if you don't want them as well. These are also not all encompassing! There are a lot of grey drops with these mobs so it's advisable to get an addon to delete these, such as (I've not used this addon before but saw that it had a delete grey's option!): http://www.curse.com/addons/wow/easyloot A lot of the bug mobs are also skinnable, I have this turned off because the leather will add up, you can simply change this option to true in the profile at the beginning of the quest order. Keep in mind these are extremely low drop rates and will probably take a while to obtain. Also for the first item it is looking for a Twilight prophet that is an elite that roams around and may not be highly available so this will most likely be the hardest part to get. These are the items that it farms and the mobs that it mainly drops from. Bloodlust Breastplate - Twilight Prophet (0.16%) in Silithus. Bloodlust Boots - Dredge Crusher (0.02%) in Silithus. These mobs also drop Oozing Bag, which can contain Disgusting Oozeling. Bloodlust Belt - Twilight Overlord (0.03%) in Silithus Bloodlust Britches - Hive'Regal Ambusher (0.02%) in Silithus Bloodlust Gauntlets - Twilight Prophet (0.03%) in Silithus Bloodlust Helm - Hive'Ashi Stinger (0.04%) in Silithus Known bugs: None that I know of! it doesnt attack anything.... do i need to change something? im using a feral druid and all it does is travel form and fly around
It probably is searching for the Twilight Prophet that has limited spawns for the zone, so until it finds one it will fly around the spawn points, this profile will probably take a while to get the pieces due to the low spawn rates and drop rates.
I didn't make it for myself so I haven't really tested it outside of making sure it ran the proper routes. It does go to the right places to kill the mobs that drop the gear. Again I haven't gotten any pieces because I didn't need to farm them, however I would say it would take a while since they're all less than 1% drop rate.
Yeah my character has been flying around doing nothing for 10minutes now. I realize it is trying to search for the prophet, but is there a way to continue on if it cannot find one after x seconds?
Hey, thanks for using the profile. I'll take another look at it, I've learned a few more things since I've written this one and may be able to rework it to do just that.
Uploaded a new version to the SVN and attachments, try that one out and let me know how it runs. Here's what has changed: Added navigation to Silithus Improved farming method to stop farming mob after 10 minutes or if we find the item, this allows the character to switch locations more often instead of waiting for a mob for hours. It probably is working, it's just not finding the mobs it needs to kill for the set piece. The first mob it searches for is a limited spawn so he may never find it before moving on to the next area. He will only stay at each location for a maximum of 10 minutes. Also make sure you're using the 1.1 version. If that doesn't solve your problem, please post a log so I can see what's going on!
Farming is slow as in, nothing drops or as in the bot is moving slowly? The drop rates are really low so this is to be expected. Don't expect the set overnight.
This is expected, it's searching for one particular mob, then if it doesn't find it in a set amount of time it will move to the next area.
I have no idea what this is doing is not even flying in the correct zone i started it in the farming zone and for some reason is is flying north I presume to Ogy. :/
