Auth Fail: Cannot connect to server buddy servers.

I've tried everything from the Wiki, new pc, new HB install. I am getting a Auth Fail, can't connect to buddy servers.
I have no antivirus installed, all ports open, connection is fine.

check your anti-virus that its not removing or blocking access to honorbuddy files.
reDownload the latest version of honorbuddy. http://updates.buddyauth.com/GetNewest?filter=Honorbuddy
Then do a clean install into a new folder. Do not reinstall over a previous installation or move items from the old installation into the new one.

 

I do not have anti virus installed on this pc, and I've done multiple new installs via zip and .exe, never over old files. Like I said this is a new computer (brand new).

 

download and install this.

after your done restart your pc.

 

Done. Still giving me the same error.

 

I ended up trying to run HB in Win 7 compatibility and it is now working.
