I was stuck at "Checking for Buddy Store products. This may take a while", then I found someone posted the same problem on forum. I noticed that it might be the problem of loading Buddy Store products, so I disable all the products on buddystore, then I can log in to HB. Problem now is, I can't enbale any products. If I enabled one product, I stucke at "Checking for Buddy Store products. This may take a while". Therefore, I can't even use any products on store including the 1-100 kick questing. (I only enable this one) So now I got no product to use. I delete all the files under %USERPROFILE%/AppData/Local/Bossland/Buddy Store/, already. but it did not work. Please help me on this issue thanks.
log into the buddystore. then click on "My Purchases" disable streaming for all listed purchases then start honorbuddy, login and see if honorbuddy starts. close honorbuddy. then re-enable streaming on the site for each perchase at a time. see if they now show up.
I did what you said already, but if I enable any of the script, HB just stuck at "Checking for Buddy Store products. This may take a while".
depending on the size of whatever you enable it could take some time, just do one at a time and give it a little bit.
but this situation never happened before this update. i've been waiting for more than 20 mins and it still stuck at "check buddy store"
Actually I don't find Cache.bin file in that folder. I only see this file, ae3fec2ffc07f4c4 I deleted it, but the problem still occured.
are you sure the key your trying to use is the same one listed on the buddyauth website? are you sure theres no spaces before or after your key? if your sure, try flushing your dns http://www.whatsmydns.net/flush-dns.html reset your host file back to default. http://www.askvg.com/how-to-reset-hosts-file-to-default-in-windows-xp-vista-and-7/ and try power cycling your home router.
The key is right, because I can log in if all the script are disable. I flushed the DNS, reset the host file, then restart the PC, but the result is still the same. Stuck at checking the buddystore.
Port 5031 is open. I don't have any antivirus software, and I have firewall off already. I am wondering why everything was ok before the latest update. No thing has changed, the only change is update to the latest version.
Ok, the problem magically fixed today. But the loading is still slow. and the login is slow as well, should I open a new thread for these issues?
there could just be a lot of people using it, unless you cannot login i wouldnt make a thread about it.
first, dont post in support threads you did not create. they are already on the fastest servers that they can be. its not like they're running off some cisco shitbox.
