      First off the program would not get passed "logging in ". I tried to uninstall honorbuddy and do a fresh reinstall but my Iobit uninstaller program could not uninstall the program. So I was able to find the file location and open the program from the launch icon and now I am getting "failed to authenticate".

      restore your windows hosts file and make sure you are using google dns

      For the computer illiterate, how do I do this?

      Man this new patch really jacked everything up. I tried everything you said to do and Im still getting an error when I am trying to reinstall. I just simply cannot run this program. View attachment log.txt

      Fixed the download problem ,however I am not stuck back on "logging in". This started happening right after patch.

      I give up, I tried deleting stuff inside my settings folder then a bunch of new problem started to happen. The program worked fine before this patch destroyed everything. I will not be resubbing.

      Ok everything is good to go however do you know why whenever I try and load the "quest" bot it never works and says "You need to be in Northern Stranglethorn?"

      I remember the zip file just did not run well for me. I used winzip to unzip. Got one good session in, tried to open up another session and got "failed to authenticate"
