Last patch broke the Bot

Many users are upset atm, because the last patch caused a lot of misbehavior.

The Paladin Deck, that usually reached Rank 5, was played nearly without any misplays.

Since the last patch the global behavior of the Bot changed and it started to play like a total tard.

@Developers: Whatever u changed during the last Patch, at the global logic, please revert it.

 

Um no. Everyone on the forums is talking about it. My winrates hit 30% post patch.

Why should we report misplays, that u implemented urself ?
Please compare version .186 with .190.
U messed something up.
Last version played very well at Rank 5.
Latest Version consistently chooses the wrong plays and can only win by pure luck.

 

Yes it doesn't tell you what exactly is wrong. However that is statistical proof of HB making legendary tier plays last patch having solid 70% winrate with mid paladin deck. And now it has a 30% winrate losing very hard. Sure it doesn't explain the cause or how to fix it, but it does show that in fact something changed that have caused things to change for the worse.

edit: well im going to use the old version where it skips turn. see if i get better results.

edit: am using version .186 and i just watched it play like a legendary player entire game, using every yellow card and just shit stomping enemy into submission.

@Tony: Its not the screenshot, its the complains about the last patch, in that whole thread. Many users noticed a significant loss of performance...

 

it sucks now why do you guys keep breaking all the decks that work then never fix them.... there is litterally no decks that can get the rank 5 yall worthless step it up

 

Is it not because people are getting better decks than you? Since there are new cards to counter.
I've only just heard about this since I'm farming safely at the 20 ranks...

 

No. it is not because people are getting better decks. With the newest bot, I played 100 games with dragon priest and deranked to rank 18. I switched back to the old bot, and ranked up to rank 11 in 20 games.
Also people at high ranks(rank 20) are ether very new and don't know how to play, or are very stupid and easy to beat, or don't have good cards. You only get to witness the performance difference when you start fighting enemies that have a brain. So yea rank 20 doesn't count.

 

This has nothing to do with the winrate of the used Deck.

When I was watching Version .186 I could tell the Bots plays in advance. He played like a good player would do.
Since Version .190 HB doesnt make the optimal plays anymore.

Its as simple as that.
And I cant believe the Devs are not even considering, that the Bot got messed up during the last patch...

 

i guess they think that if something is wrong everyone is gonna come here and post the problem, but in reality 99.9% of people don't bother to post on forums at all ever for anything and id say that number is even lower with a bot program as we got it cause we are lazy.

with that being said it seems like they are doing it on purpose im assuming to keep the bot low key with low win % so blizzard doesn't care the bots just feed decent players free wins so blizzards tolerates it i guess? there have been several decks that used to work very well with the bot then a bot patch "breaks it" some how and only a few people report it. so they think well its good enough i guess...ive reported the mech mage broken like 5 different times 6+months ago and it still isnt fixed and the deck is so simple to play its literally the easiest deck that there is. so only thing that makes sense to me is the dev's do it on purpose to maintain a low profile

maybe if on the bots user interface itself there was a report a bad play button then i could see people actually reporting miss plays. i mean if you watch the bot for even a couple hours there is so many miss plays that it would take you a long long time just to post each miss play. and aint nobody got time for that!

 

So I disagree with most of everything you said. But I do agree if the actual code writers ran the bot and watched it, it would be a lot better. But i disagree with the whole keeping the winrate low so blizzard won't do anything. The thing you have to understand is, blizzard is a money making machine. As long as retarded kids keep buying packs, they won't do shit, because they don't have to. They don't care for the players or anyone else, as long as they bring home the bacon they won't do anything that isn't required to keep their jobs. If they had one competent employee do some research on bots, the whole thing would be canned overnight. That's why it isn't because blizzard is lazy and it doesn't care. As for the winrate and bot ai fucking up. I don't think its intentional. It's accidental. As for why the ai is so bad? same reason why blizzard doesn't ban bots, but for the buddy staff. As long as the owners get their 500 sign ups a month, everything is fine. As long as the devs get paid, everything is fine. Who gives two shits about winrate dropping 40%? Not the buddy staff, no blizzard, not hearthstone players. Just us HB botters, and were too small of a niche to give a shit over. So as long as everyone is getting paid, and no one is worrying about anything, progress will be slow and the bot is going to suck. Only when people start panicking and worrying will there be change with godlike legendary bot. Oh well whatever. I guess you can always go farm vs brain-dead children at rank 20 with auto concede on. Then brag about your 90% winrate in the guides section.

 

yeh your right its all about make as much money with as little bit of effort as possible. so breaking it on purpose just sounds like to much work.. BUT.. its just been awfully fishy every time we figure out a deck the bot can actually use the next bot update (which seems to come out fast) and it doesn't work anymore.. this has happened to literally every single deck that had a 60+% winrate... im just perplexed as to the why of this just doesn't make sense /keeps tin foil hat on

 

@tony if u don't see upset customers..... you need to look at the forums again... all i see in the latest comments in posts are losing streaks and common words like "patch" "broke" "bot"
