Anyone interested in making a market board bot or pointing me in the direction of one? Not sure if it would even be possible, but in essence it would just scan your retainers items for sale, scan the price history, and if your price isn't the lowest undercut the lowest price by one gil and repost.
It would only take a handful of these bots to create a ton of highly suspicious undercuts and get suspensions for everyone involved. If we undercut each other 1000 items a day.
Im not saying that the bot stands there all day and undercuts every second. I just want to be able to have it scan through once so i dont have to. I usually have to repost my items 4 times a day and 20 items across 6 retainers becomes annoying. I just figured a bot could do the same thing i do which is scan and repost 1gil less than the lowest per item NQ and HQ.
Add a settings "Max lower price". Example : Crawler Silk actually HQ 15k gils. Put a settings with max lower price is 8k. If someone put a Crawler Silk at 7.999 or more lower, the bot leave the price to 8k.
I think what he meant is people could bait the bot(s) into super low prices by putting one up for super cheap then waiting for the bot to undercut then buying up yours at an extreme low price and relisting or using them. Would seem like a pain in the ass to have to set a lowest price # for every item you could possibly want to list over each retainer, but I am not a coder so perhaps it isn't as time consuming as anything else already being done though. Not to mention if you're going to set a cap on how low you'll go would probably just be easiest to set your item at that price and forget it than have to camp your retainer.
Only items worth camping are 2 star mat items. The rest of everythign gathered by RB profiles will sale in 2/3 days if you just let the price manipulators do their thing.
