Hi fellow botters I am thinking of moving to FF14 and hope some of the pro's here can give me some information. So if you guys could let me know what the best class and spec is for levelling using the bot but is also decent at end game and has decent supported routines. I will not be afk leveling I never do that but if you guys could share some pro tips as well that would be great. Bty what is the state of the bot atm and also when replying I am looking for in your opinion what the best rotation bot is so I do not care if they are a pita to level. Thanks
I would say Marauder\Warrior, you'll most likely be off-tank end-game, but you do amazing DPS that keeps up with DPS classes. It's practically a Hybrid Tank DPS. I would suggest using Ultima <- With this edit. My Warrior does about 1350 DPS opener. Then averages somewhere around 1.1k with deliverance. You'll also get better queues for the dungeons, practically instant for most since you're a tank, which will help with your progress a lot.
If you are switching over to FFXIV i would advise that you level a healer first, as stated above tanks que times are almost instant healers are the next fastest. Being able to heal will let the bot stay alive alot easier, and with cleric stance from whm you get a dps similar to casters when not healing. Also in ffxiv from lvl 1-49 you get 100% more exp if you have another class higher than the one you are lvling, 50-60 its 50%. If it is your first time playing ffxiv, i wouldn't advise using marauder as they need to truely stance dance well to get a good dps, Paladin or dark knight is more likely easier for the new people. Range dps, probably Arcanist since they can switch between dps class and healer class, black mage for spell dps. There are not that many combat routines available, and ultima is generally the best one for me.
I'd recommend a Lancer while speccing your chocobo for white mage. Using Ultima and having my bird in healer stance the only thing that killed me were the A-rank 50 elite mobs that are peppered through leveling areas. Dungeon queues aren't horrible while leveling, Primetime I tend to wait 1-5 minutes for dungeon queues. Warrior is a close second but I don't really recommend to anyone tanking end game unless you know the class.
