I just thought of this and did a quick search of it, but if it has been posted already then I apologize...

So, selling gold, no matter what the method (guild bank, in person, AH, mail), seems to have a reasonably "high" change of getting all of your accounts flagged and subsequently banned. I was reading elsewhere about using Mysterious Fortune Cards (Fortune Card - Item - World of Warcraft to be precise) to get yourself under the gold cap when xfering and vendoring them on the new server. Why not apply this to selling gold? If someone wanted to buy 100k you would trade them 20 cards. Now of course there is the issue of actually having 20 cards to trade, but that aside I doubt blizzard flags gold acquired from a vendor.

Has anyone tried trading like this already?

How do you suggest people acquire the valuable cards in the first place?

I think, as you already pointed out, the problem is acquiring the cards in the first place.

would be tough.. cause people usually vendor as soon as they get them.. they don't hold onto them.

Hmmm would this work for transferring gold from a bot account to a main if we bought dark moon cards and sent them instead of sending like 20k

Don't waste your money on this. Buy actual materials that are worth something.

The Mysterious Fortune cards are not a good investment. They are a complete gamble.

The uncommon, rare, and epic cards are NOT on a normal equal chance that every other card has. I made 500 of these cards and only got a 200g card as the highest card in the lot. Make them and sucker people for 10-20g each, but don't think these are at all worth it.

I am not suggesting that you gamble with the cards; one would have to be pretty foolish to do so. I am just suggesting that you do what I did to acquire the high tier ones. I actually picked up a reasonable sum advertising that I was "paying 5100 for the 5k ones; 250 for the 200 ones; 55 for the 50 ones" Though you lose a bit of money, it is certainly worth it if you can avoid a ban...
