With the rebirth of Exilebuddy there seems to be an increased devotion of our awesome programmers to come up with new (and improved) projects. I thought it would be nice to have a sort of one-stop-shop to list out the various improvements to the bot that users would like to see, potentially influencing future updates and developer projects. I'll keep a master list in this first post and annotate if/when an idea has been noted as in-progress by a developer or completed. These are listed in no particular order of desire, importance or priority. Please let me know if you'd like to see anything else! EXILEBUDDY WISH LIST Quest Bot Dropdown boxes for Quest Rewards. Bot (should) know what class you're playing and can offer up the various static 4-6 potential quest rewards for a particular quest. Would cut down on the time needed to swap over to the POE wiki to see which quest rewards what. Map Improvements Ability to automatically restore "Upgrade to" setting if the bot detects the player now has enough materials to continue crafting at that rarity level. This could be accomplished by instead setting a "Maximum Upgrade to" which would force the bot to fall back to Magic upgrades if no Rare materials are available and continue to roll Rare maps if your materials recover. Cartographer box crafting option. I believe this would be best suited (if the coding would allow) as an inclusion of the new MapBot, if not as part of an overhauled complete Strongbox Crafter plugin. A well rolled Cartographer's box can result in a lot of mid/high level maps vice a lot of low level maps. More control over the affixes the bot rolls for a map. We have a Blacklist to weed out unwanted affixes, however, that leaves a lot of potentially "undesired" yet runnable affixes. The cheapest way I can think of doing this would be to have a settings option to specify options such as pack size, and the bot would stop rolling maps if pack size was met and didn't include any affixes listed under Blacklist. I'm sure there would be other (better) ways to achieve this. Per tier-level control over map settings. This kind of fixes the whole "Max map tier" issue where, let's say you want to run T1-6 as Normal, T7-8 as Magic, and T9+ as Rare. Currently you could set... T9 as Max map tier and Upgrade to as Rare. If you run out of T9 maps and haven't ran out of rare upgrade materials the bot will start upgrading T8 maps to Rare. Granular control would allow for more efficient mapping pools. Following up with the previous idea, the ability to set a minimum Tier for Rare Map Rerolling. Again this can cause an issue if you have a lower tier map in your stash that you wouldn't want to waste currency on, the bot at the moment will. Apex fragment implementation - Full running of Atziri may be out of the question, however 3/4 of the fragments are extremely common and begin to fill up the stash especially with automatic divination card turn-in from StashBuddy. These individual fragments are a cheap way to add quality to a map and an option to throw one in with a map would be cool. IE with option enabled, you could set chisel % to 15% and then click a box to utilize fragments (which add an additional 5% quality). I realize ideally you could sell off fragments individually for more than one additional chisel would cost, however there's the whole time value of selling off 1c items. Specific statistics on map drops - Currently bot only shows an average level of dropped map. Would like to see it broken down by Tier so that you could quickly visualize if you've gotten enough of the next tier to bump up the Max tier selection. Flask Usage Improvements Being handled by Tony in the upcoming FlaskHelper release Combat Routine Improvements Being handled by Tony in the upcoming AdvancedRoutine release Defensive Plugins Expand DangerDodger's capabilities to include more spells and effects to avoid. This could turn in to the new "chicken" plugin where you could blacklist certain affixes on monsters and the bot would simply attempt to skip over that pack. Currently chicken only supports outright leaving the map/game vice continuing on. General Ideas Statistics improvement of the core bot. I'd like to see at the very least a death counter, total XP earned, and XP/hr integrated into the bot GUI. Masters Plugin - Bot would check if a Daily Mission is available from any Master in your Hideout and complete it. Bot would also (idea: checkbox settings to include/exclude any wild master) run Wild Masters if found while mapping. Strongbox Plugin - Exilebuddy used to have one, the ability to upgrade/chance strongboxes. Ability to keep various crafting materials in your inventory already exists in the core bot. GemLevelerPro - Ability set maximum upgrade levels on specific gems. Especially helpful for CWDT setups. (Have been informed you can already do this with the Blacklist function by specifying "gemname,#" where # is the level you want to stop leveling) Passive Tree Leveler - Self explanatory. Ability import/export passive trees would be a helpful addition. Botting Duration - Setting to specify how long you would want the bot to run before stopping/exiting game. Chest Leash - Ability to set (or hard coded) a maximum distance you'd want to return to chests. Too often in maps (especially in say something like the sewers with rooms next to each other on the map but with a long backtrack path) the bot will waste A LOT of time traveling 1200 units back to a chest. There should be some way to blacklist a chest if it is "> X" units away to improve efficiency. Ability to reset an instance upon killing of named boss, ie Voll ((ihacknewbies)) Edit: Complaining about the bot, complaining about policies regarding pricing of the bot, complaining that you've lost money, etc will NOT be included. This is not the thread for that. If you have constructive feedback as to what you'd like to see added, fine, if you don't please make your own thread.
Now use? This isn't a support thread please edit your post out. However, it tells you exactly what the error is, you have to rename the exe.
Wishlist , Honorbuddy and Demonbuddy users getting from first of june 1 year subscription costs 24 euro ,and what we got is : 12 x 13 = 156 euros ...Q_Q Looking for at least 3 month sub plan, like a league in path of exile. Comparing to the rest projects here, i feel just a LITTLE rekt for having monthly sub, looks like everybody satisfied, but im not.
My Wish: Better handling for ranged attacks, specifically handling with Proximity Shield http://pathofexile.gamepedia.com/Proximity_Shield As a ranged char it just fires and fires a fckload of arrows into the shield without damaging anything. Something like "force Melee Range if Mob X has Proximity Shield" would be great. Counts for other defensive mob-mechanics aswell that give us archers a hard time.
As far as HOW your character utilizes skills that's all combat routine. Unfortunately for most specs there's only OldRoutine so very specific implementations of skills is hard to get added to the base of the bot as that's more on someone to create a "Ranger Combat Routine." Most combat routine stuff I'm waiting until Tony's AdvancedRoutine comes out before updating that section... as it provides an "easier" GUI to setup conditions for individual skills. The ability to do what you're describing may be possible, if AR can hook into detect what sort of skills rare mobs are using (which the core bot can do). Also I think it's a bit of a stretch to think they'd be able to code how every skill in the game should operate under every condition in one master file, hence the reason combat routines exist in the first place... that's one area of the game you'll just have to accept no one shares their CRs for the most part (because the people who write them are generally running multiple bots farming to sell orbs for cash) as if developer A can do a map run in 2 minutes and it takes you 10 minutes he's making 5x as much real life money as you. But again, hopefully AdvancedRoutine bridges that gap a bit, from the screenshots Tony has put out it looks to be pretty powerful and will be a lot easier to use for the average user to tweak their routine vice diving down into a .cs file and trying to code if/then statements.
I don't know what routine are you using but the bot should walk into Proximity Shield mob and kill it from inside the shield.
Well, atleast that doesn't work for Tornado Shot / Lightning Arrow / Blast Rain (tested all). It just stands there meters away hammering arrows into the Proximity Shield for minutes (or till I die). Edit: Ouch, think I found the problem. I'm stupid. I ticked "always attack in place" - lets see if he still does that... All my fault! Many apologies!
