Ok.. this is my try to contribute to this community this will supposedly fix the pet combat bug in the current HB version.. (it's from nesox.. i just made it into a plugin) plugin template from.. highvoltz cheers.. PS. i tested it for 5 minutes.. seemed to work
My plugin will also fix the the pet combat bug with the party/raid assist feature: http://www.thebuddyforum.com/honorb...elper-targeting-enhancements-pve-pvp-raf.html EDIT: I do like to see how you solved this in a different way (using a targets filter). Gives me some ideas. I really wish the devs would release a programming guide or something, as it's hard to discover everything that the API supports just by digging around.
Thanks True that. Though I am kinda figuring it out by looking at other scripts. Just wondering tho, where the hell does "Styx" come from? Seems like a common name except that I can't imagine this beeing used in any other program
I've been using this and so far haven't had the issue with the pet aggroed and the bot not attacking correctly.
looking forward to your next plugin then this isn't my original work.. nesox practically wrote the whole targetfilter.. i just put it in a plugin
Very nice, do you think you could add in the disable while in instance fix for instancebuddy? it goes kinda crazy when in an instance pulling every add it can find
will test on my hunter, thx. Edit : Tested for a few hours now, seems to work flawless thx again +rep
Thanks, I will look it over! I might try to create my own bot-base sometime in the future and this could be a good reference. Link to the guide. Well either way, thanks for sharing! I have already updated CombatHelper (v2.5) to update the target filter using the same logic that it uses for pulling nearby targets. The result is much more seamless integration with the CC (i.e. Plugin won't pull a mob that CC thinks is not a good target ). Any nearby NPC who is targetting you or a party member (including your pet) will be considered a good target. Also, any hostile NPCs engaged in combat with friendly NPCs are considered good targets.
Thanks for sharing. Will have to try this when I get home. Works perfect thanks again. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Might add this is suitable for ALL classes that have a pet one way or another. Even temporary pets seem to go off by themselves and the aggro is not registered (Shadowfiend for example) when their behaviour is set to agressive. It will attack another target, but the bot doesn't register this. This plugin will most likely also solve that.
Yepp, same thing with DK as frost specc, when bot summons pet and pet gets aggro, dk doesnt assist it...
