Is this project still getting updated?

Hi everyone,

Is IB still being updated? It seems to have a lot of small issues with the currently supported dungeons that make it so you can't really run afk. Sure it may make it through some dungeons, but it looks extremely bottish (running into candelabras, not knowing how to navigate around stairs and some doorways, etc.)

IB has some great potential but it seems like it has been forgotten by the devs in the wake of GB2, AB, etc.

Yes, but it would be nice to be able to run it afk wouldn't it? If you have to sit there trying to force it around some stairs as it stutter steps back and forth you might as well just play manually.

IB could be great but it has been really left by the wayside for the past month with some serious bugs.

I think if we could manually set tank follow distance on the tank to be closer a lot of the navigation issues would be fixed.

It would be even better if the project was open source, but I guess it will be for sale eventually?

I agree. While I appreciate the updates the other bot bases have been receiving, IB is now in dire need of an update. Maybe IB should be released open source as SammerX said, since that would definitely be a step in the right direction for competing with Glider in the future.

 

Agreed. Each time Honorbuddy releases, I believe IB has had improvements in it. Like all things, IB is moving forward--just not at the pace at which we'd like it.

The BugTracker is the vehicle that's been put in place to address specific issues, and make IB better. The Community as a whole appreciates your input into BugTracker for specific issues you find with IB.

Is glider going to do instances? I used to like using its party mode. Really happy to hear they are winning their appeal against blizzard's thuggery.

I guess this is true, with fixes like the null in game bug. That kind of seemed like a general issue with HB though.

On the bright side, once you hit 60 AB works fantastically.

I honestly beg of you to not bot heroics on EU were I tank.

 

Guys, it's been like... what? 2 weeks? since IB has had any "major" things done to it. Why? Because people wanted AB and GB2, which they got.

Give raphus some time to actually recoop and he'll get back to IB, he's just really, really busy making new toys due to customer demands

 

It's been over a month, actually. Just saying.

 

I don't really want to bot heroics, what is the point in even playing then? I am just interested in leveling characters here.

It would be really nice to make a functional product before moving onto new ones wouldn't it? I don't think a lot of the glaring issues are even that difficult to solve, it just seems to need some tweaking if anything for most of them, if it was open source I'd fix them myself.
