I would love IB to be able to have it's own loot radius setting. I've been turning up my loot radius, its helped my leveling toons keep their gathering profs up to speed as they level, but I have to disable mining/herbing in instances, because it will run into a pack of mobs right at the start of the dungeon, leading to a wipe, or a pised off group. Same for looting. IMO it's safer to leave looting on, especially for skinnable mobs. People tend to get very pissed if they cant skin something because nobody looted it. Also, probably due to HB's latest pathing changes, some melee toons have a hard dime navigating, so I've been running mostly ranged toons/specs. The shaman on resto spec seemed to run better than enhancement.
OK, tried this on lvl 15 druid, all plugins and addons turned off, using fpsware druid cc, bot set to IB, loaded a basic grind profile, selected deadmines, upon entering instance pathing was obvious bottish, run in circles, got stuck, and would not heal, kept dpsing even tho I have the CC set to always heal in party. Everything is turned off, looting, gathering, grinding, got it set to stand still when not in instance. Was major fail before it got to first boss, had to constantly heal by hand cause the bot wanted to do nothing but dps. Que'd as healer cause I thought that setting the CC to always heal when in a party would make the toon heal in an instance, evidentally not. I attached the log file below, I left the instance right after the first boss because I did not want to have to keep stopping the bot so I could heal by hand. Please Help, I so want this to work, I'm just about ready to give up. PS I don't think the problem I had running the shaman had anything to do with the CC, at least it would heal part of the time... It just had no gps and could not find it's way out of a wet paper bag with holes in both ends. Kept getting stuck, running in circles, running into packs of mobs, etc.... only the occasional not healing at all. Oh and It caused the whole program to crash/shutdown including the wow client.
dont quote me on this, because my druid is dps only.... but i dont think Fpsware has a working heal spec atm.... try druidhealz
Set role to DPS, Loaded up the same char as above, lvl 15 Druid using Fpsware Default Druid CC, hit start button on IB. It did an anti-afk jump twice, so I know it's still "running" I'd be willing to bet that all of these issues I'm running into has nothing to do with the CC at all, and is either a bug with IB or with HB. Current log attached, char logged in and still waiting on dungeon que atm.
Will it do more than the 3 cata dungeons so long as I watch it? Aren't most fights just targeting what the tank does?
i've just a little question: honorbuddy sais "you must load a profile for bot to run" when i start instancebunddy. what's wrong?
do you have shamwow? or the default shaman CC? is your LFD set to healer? there are a bunch of reasons it could be.... my shaman heals great in all non blacklisted instances
both my shammy and my druid is healing just fine make sure u are resto speced and use a cc who suport healing
Yes, I run this on my mage while tanking on my paladin. I've had to switch windows to help him out a few times, but this had more to do with the CC I was using rather than IB itself. Although I wouldn't suggest doing it on more than normals, heroics require a lot of attention to not die, and this bot just isnt up to Cata-Heroics par yet. All you have to do it go to Load Profile under the Status tab, and choose a profile to run. If you are DPS I'd suggest getting a farming profile so your Character doesn't auto-logout of the game while waiting for the que. Then also click on Bot Settings, right next to Load Profile, and tell InstanceBuddy to either run the profile you have selected, so make sure you're in the area that profile is set for, or tell it to just stand still. I que my mage running IB with my tank/healer so I just tell it to stand still, and it's basically instant ques.
when i run this, it does the first dungeon fine, but 5-10 mins after the first one it seem to get a wow crash every single time.. i dont know what causes it... anyone who can help me?
Seems jumping feature is bugged, especially for maraudon with the water fall : my toon is jumping but then he just keep swimming to the ground and die due to a lack of air and the distance with the tank is a bit too high : sometime my char get stuck in walls Btw i just blacklist this instance but it sux a bit Also, what does number next to instance mean ? [16] [164] ?
Dire Maul North has no entrance point and i was asked by Instancebuddy to report this here: <Hotspot X="-3980.89" Y="802.1806" Z="161.0144" />
everytime you start HB... IB gives you a list of instances it can Tank... which is also the list that it can farm in farm mode.
I tried this with my resto shammy but he was using pre-Cata heal spam (i.e. riptide, chain heal, chain heal, etc). Is there a way to have it use more healing wave?
