Hello, Well I'm not new to botting, I used to Bot a lot with HonorBuddy and had no problems at all, the bot was realllly useful, couldn't be happier with it. Couple years later and I'm playing PoE. I want to use ExileBuddy. The thing is that I have a few doubts and would be happy if you could help me out with info from your own experience. So: - Is this like HB? I mean can the Bot be used to multiple ends? (not only map farming) - Can I use it to lvl up different characters and builds? Can he quest and lvl up with any build I choose? Thanks in advance guys.
1) It's an ARPG not a MMO, all there is to do in the game is kill shit. You can map farm or you can farm regular zones. But that's all you can do if you're playing manually too. 2) Yes, there is a working Quest plugin that'll do all of the leveling hands free.
I mostly agree with Widds comment. The only thing is with the quest plugin, you probably will have to stop it a few times, re gear etc so u can continue questing without dying too often. Other than that... its pretty much just a game where you kill crap to get currency, so u can get better gear, to kill more crap for more currency. Hence grinding gear games. The end game in POE is mapping decent tiers for currency to run higher tiers, there are also some end game bosses. Atziri, Uber Atziri, Uber Lab, Shaper & guardians. They are complicated fights, so not to be botted as you will lose your portals really fast.
I mean you can use EquipPlugin and setup a profile to handle the random gear upgrades as you go. I'm just used to leveling alts that are full unique equipped so they don't need gear swaps every 5 levels. And I'm not sure if the auto passive plugin is still working, but if it is you can build out your passive tree beforehand and it'll apply your points as you level.
Yup there are equip & autopassive plugins. You just need to configure it and sometimes bot stucks in quest and u have to start again.
Thank you for all the feedback. You guys are right this is a grinding game there is not much to do beside grinding . I need it mainly because I don't have the time to lvl up all the builds I want to try so..... yeah, I'm glad it can lvl up, do quests and follow your skill tree.
I am in the same boat, I usually play a build for some currency then roll a better build that's more fun by hand. I do very similar thing as Widds in regards to buying uniques and using those, ie using life springs for leveling spell caster. Or some unique 2h for leveling. This is generally what I do, the equipment plug in I do not have experience with but if it works try it out! I just go uniques for simplicity.
Not only can you automate the questing through A1 Normal to A4 Merciless, there's a 90% chance that it does it faster than you would manually too It's actually pretty impressive and only bugs out rarely. I will say though unless you're twinking your alts with good leveling gear, you'll probably have to stop it from time to time (generally either in A3 to do the docks a few runs, or A4 to do dried lakes before you finish up the act) to catch up in levels.
