Collectitem questing doesnt work?

I've tried 3 different profiles.. whenever the quest is to collect items, it just stands there.. anyone else having this problem?

 

it depends on the quest. sometimes it needs an override or a CB depending on how much HB hates it

which profile are you referring to?

 

I am having the same problem as well for any questing profile I use, I am using the horde 1-39 and the Chinese one converted to English for 70-80, both do the same thing, they go to the location but never pick up the quest objects.

 

i've used the Project wow outlands one and now the Mt. Hyjal neutral one.. both do the same thing.. never had this problem before this new patch/release

I noticed that in a beta copy of BC that i'm using...it doesn't want to collectitems either (from gameobjects). i thought it was just one of the flukes that we had and used a CB to make it collect

Now that a lot of ppl are having this issue, you may want to submit a bug report

 

im on a bc account right now using kaz's 1-60 questing profile, and yeah, if it has to pick up an object, it basically just runs from hot spot to hot spot, so ive just been manually picking them up.. manual botting ftl lawl.

 

I'm hgaving the same issue. Might quest manually a bit while it's being fixed.
By the way whats a CB? Custom Behaviour?

 

Given this issue breaks many of the good questing profiles, I hope they update HB with a new "fixed" release ASAP and not hold off for days while they fix all the other bugs first.

 

Yeah sometimes things happen :\

especially with a major patch

But as a profile creator, I'm used to issues ... hopefully an update will be in the coming days (or a hotfix plugin)

Yeah without this feature questing is absolutely useless. Could someone from support provide an ETA?

 

agreed.. questing is pointless now since every 2nd or 3rd quest is a collecting quest.

 

quite annoying isn't it reported my bug before too so. post your bug in bugtracker suggest everyone else do to.

 

get interact plugin for quick fix seems to work for me

 

Quest overrides work, check some of my replies in the Horde 1-42 quest. Basically you need to tell it which game object is the container object you collect from. A fix would be great, but adding those will get profiles back up and running.

 

Huge exaggeration. Most collecting quests are looting off mobs which still works fine. Its only looting from objects in the landscape which is broken.

 

Is this the same with:

Its just stand there and use the wrong "useObject"?
So is it a bug or im i doing something wrong?

 

I submitted a Bug report and they have fixed the issue (for the next release I'm assuming)

I believe questoverride collectitems is working, but not sure
