Message from GM, what does this mean ?

earlier i posted a thread about getting PM'ed by a gm with a message telling me to go to a website to auth. my account becuse of blabla.

as i said i only saw the whisper on my buddycenter , so i did not see the actual whisper.

someone acused me of being a advertisor for a scam site becuse posting the link in the message, i just want to make clear i am not a scammer

as for the rest of you accusing me of being retarded for not realising it was a scam whisper ,
1. i thought badboy blocked whispers and they would not appear on buddycenter
2. i did not see the actual whisper so i could not see wether or not he had a [blizzard] tag infront of his name.

i have recieved many of these whispers just ignore them its a scam

 

shouldn't matter , anyone in their right mind would know anyone asking you to go to this website to verify your info is a scam... plain in simple...

 

ANY message that asks you to go to a website and enter your acct info is a scam.

well now i know only been using hb for a couple days and never got a whisper like this before. that was why i was alarmed. thanks anyway

 

I closed it for a reason. either they were scammers or you were.
