This. I've watched the bot walk into several boss rooms - Beach comes to mind for sure - doesn't even move, and then portals out without exploring anything, or killing anything. Before anyone asks, my settings are set to kill the boss of Beach, and the bot successfully kills other bosses. It seems like the bot just enters, doesn't immediately find enemies, and then leaves. This also happens in phantasmagoria.
Maybe the bot just wants to go back to the beach to chill... Maybe in phantasmagoria, bot doesn't want to encounter ugly beast inside and is rebellious... Seriously though, I don't know, only coders will know this. My bot attacks both bosses. Maybe re-install plugin, and delete the map files in the config folder (be careful though, because you'll have to get the updated map-buddy plugin files again if you reinstall it...
Just confirming, but this is the latest and greatest of mapbuddy right? I may have just fked something up and am missing the super obvious fix, but does this plugin not support maps like crystal ore, beach or oasis? cant find em on the list, came home today and the bot was just standing in my hideout, looked at the log, says that it failed to find a proper map in the entire stash~ Community devs seem to have lost their luster this patch.
Hi! To make mapbuddy work.. the new version.. 1st go to your exilebuddy folder /settings/the profile what u are using/ delete Mapbuddy json file.. because the Ebuddy profile probably using your OLD Mapbuddy settings for it. It should work, worked for me and for others too
still leaving boss rooms even after doing this just watched it clear the blues in the boss room in Quay and then tp out without killing boss. it isnt set to ignore boss either
so there must have a been a good reason why some maps were not selected? i selected all maps from T1 to T5 and found my bot suck in spiders lair map for like 5 hours (which was originally not selected) then when he went to arena map he didnt enter any of the arenas (arena map was also not selected) I should just re download it and leave settings as they are
I started a full time job, gonna be a dad, it's near xmas, yep, I lost my luster Kappa. In fact the only reason we don't update faster, is that we lack of time. you should see my eyes, they burnin'
Its not a solution for the boss room leaving, he had problems with the map settings.. maps doesn't show for him etc..
Damn, those will all eat up your time. I'm busy enough with a full time job + xmas stuff. Year end at work too, always taking too much time.
