Hey guys! I haven't played PoE in over a year after I was scammed pretty badly. Got frustrated and quit. I would like to get back into it again and get my bot set up for success. I really don't have as much time as I used to, to go through the forums and read everything for setting up the bot. Is anyone willing to remote in and help me get my bot set up to level up a character from scratch and teach me how to set up inventory settings etc? Please reach out if you can help.
simple question: Since you can't or don't want to invest your time for this, why should others invest time in helping you? Or share the infos that costed huge amount of time? Good luck anyways
I would be willing to pay for the help. When you do not have time, sometimes you have to pay for what you need..
I'm going suggest that if you are the type of person to get frustrated easily (as evidenced by scamming causing you to leave for a year), then you probably shouldn't bot. I'm going suggest that if you are the type of person without time for video games (as evidenced by you saying you don't have time), then you probably shouldn't bot. I'm going suggest that if you are the type of person who isn't going to figure out how something works (as evidenced by you saying you wouldn't), then you probably shouldn't bot. My 2 cents. PS If someone DOES offer to remote in, cover your butt.
Thanks for the feedback... Now on a more realistic note, what class/build do you recommend to start back with for use of farming. I need a character that I can farm with to get loot so I can get back in the swing of things. I will figure the rest out on my own since people are being dicks about it.
Also, since I am starting from scratch, is it best for me to spend a little money to get items for leveling, or do you guys have any recommendations from starting with nothing at all.
people are not dicks about anything. people are just not willing to share info they gathered themselves in hundreds over hundreds of hours to someone they do not know and to someone that is not willing to invest time to research. keep in mind every soul that gets our help will in the end be just another competitor that fights for demand and good prices. the best help you can get anyways is this: -> learn the game - understand the mechanics, get a feeling for builds / the tree -> get used to how EB works -> figure out a good botting build with the knowledge from the 2 above points -> read on the developer/profile forums which plugins are available and figure out which ones are useful for you -> read EVERY startpost and the last 2-3 pages in each thread of the plugins you want to use -> make money! if you have done all that and still stumble over problems, you will be able to address them properly with a concrete question. those questions will be answered in no time on this forum. but no "hey spoonfeed me, im lazy"
As was said before, noone is to give you things on a silver platter. If you want to bot and bot succesfully, you'll have to invest the time. Also the whole "i can pay" shtick has been used/absued so many times, noone is going to jump on it since - let's be honest - most of the time the people that say they are willing to pay, will then either not pay or constantly bother someone that helped since "i paid, so now you have to help me forever". Bite the bullet, buckle down and find some time.
